Since all this is new, I'll do this journal as notes of my experiences of the games I played or currently playing.

School's starting.
Now that school is already starting, Im afraid alot of my gaming time will be gone. Also, facing the fact that higer grade=more homework, grade 9 might be the hardest year Ive had so far. after I got burnout 3, I instantly got addicted to it and just wants to keep playing it. Burnout 3 is so awesome I didnt even kept playing Suikoden 3 for 3 days already. Since school and work are probably gamer's greatest block to keep them farther away from games, I better play all I can for the next 4 days before the real work begins to torture me.
Current game stats: Burnout 3 - finished around 30 races out of 175, exact finished races can't remember, Suikoden 3 - Geddoe chapter 3 finished, Hugo and Chris's chapter 2 done, currently at Trinity Site.

September 02, 2004 - Suikoden 3
I've been playing this for about four days now, my impressions is that although I haven't played alot rpgs in my life, this one can be said to be the weirdest one yet. What I found weird is not because it's like say too difficult or it has an extremely complicated battle system or anything, but rather quite opposite. I'm not saying this game is easy or anything, and I'll tell you it's not, but I found this game to be quite simple in all the gameplay features it has. By what I mean is that most of the gameplay is a whole bunch of numbers put together. Yes its the same as any other rpgs, but in ways I couldn't describe, these numbers play more important roles than it would in other rpgs. Examples would be its stat building system, which requires skill points you earn from battles that is completely diffent from experience points used for leveling up. These skill points are then used at training centers you'll find throughout the land you journey in to upgrade a certain skills. As for the skills then, are not normally like skills you'll see in final fantasy games where it does a certain effect to your enemies. In Suikoden 3, actually the skills you upgrade for are also used for bumping up your stats, for example you got 90 skill points from a number of battles and you use to improve you damage abilities. After you improved it, your damage skill goes up from a D ranking to a C ranking. My point in Suikoden 3 is the gameplay region is entirely a bunch of numbers you gain from battle and players will let it be used for customizing the stats of their characters, I find this system simple but fun to fool around with.
Current location in the game - beginning of Geddoe chapter 2, completed Chris's chapter 2 as well as Hugo's chapter 2.
