I cannot wait for Fable 2! the original was amazing.. too short but amazing! here are some confirmed details, below:
- Mini-map has been replaced with a "bread crumb trail;" a dynamic golden line on the ground that directs you to a destination (read: medieval GPS)
- Magic system is divided into focused, single-foe attacks and ranged attacks; attacks can be built up into five levels using various spell combinations
- Speaking of spells, there'll be just eight (but remember, they can be combined)

- Every house in the game is up for sale; each house will unlock a sidequest, item or skill
- Rough estimation: 20-30 times larger than the first Fable
- The gameworld features seasons and dynamic weather
- Cutscenes are interactive; the d-pad can be used to issue certain gestures that will steer conversations
- Sex minigame was canned; instead, screen goes dark and moaning ensues (sex can still be unprotected though! Babies, yes; STDs, unconfirmed)
- Female character was almost canned; almost.
- And finally: Three more Fable sequels are being planned. (Lionhead is currently wrapping up Fable 2 and focusing on an announced project.)

New cities? Pfft! How about an entire state?! While rummaging through the Rockstar Social Club, a GTAForums poster uncovered the plane ticket pictured above (full view). Looks like Niko is headed to the fine state of San Andreas, famous for its lowriders and piping hot coffee. Whether it's the stuff of fan fiction or a not-so-subtle hint of content to come, your guess is as good as ours, but the ticket does rekindle last month's rumor that the exclusive GTA IV DLC for Xbox 360 will feature "new downloadable cities." What's curious is that the flight isn't destined for one of San Andreas' specific airports, but rather the state itself. What could it mean? Well, for one, that you'd need a bigger hard drive.
Much as many people expected, Activision public relations recently confirmed that Aerosmith's catalogue will remain a Guitar Hero-exclusive for the foreseeable future. There's a considerable amount of public speculation as to whether or not this will spark future fights over exclusive content, and I'm inclined to assume that it will. The incentives are just too strong to avoid future conflict – the battle between Guitar Hero and Rock Band is a great example of the prisoner's dilemma.

The prisoner's dilemma is a common building block of game theory, which is often used in business strategy to describe potential competitive responses or explain company actions. It's so named because of the story that was used to illustrate its problem. Imagine two fugitives that have robbed a bank and were just picked up by the police. Each man is taken into a separate room, and the police make the following offer to each: if they confess to the crime and help to implicate their partner, they'll receive an extremely lenient sentence. However, if they stay quiet and their partner implicates them, they'll receive the maximum penalty - while their partner gets off scot-free. Of course, if both confess, the evidence they provide isn't particularly useful, and they'll each go to trial, ending up with a sentence somewhere in the middle. What should each man do?
GTA Glitches: The Aftermath

Numerous reports of a game-freezing bug in the PlayStation 3 version of Grand Theft Auto IV have been appearing on websites and forum threads across the net. (evidence suggests that only 60GB units have been affected.) As of Monday, May 1st Rockstar ltd. is offering technical support and repair for consoles/games.
The Last Stand 2.. wait 2?
Now, almost a year to the day after, the game has risen from its grave and begun shambling towards us with The Last Stand 2.

Though it's not a huge leap forward graphically, there are some significant improvements, especially to the daylight time-management part of the game. Now you'll be able to move from city to city as you try to survive the zombie apocalypse with your ragtag group of survivors, deciding exactly how much time (and where) they'll hunt for new weapons and others still among the living. Traps have also been added, which give the combat a little more depth. If you haven't checked it out (especially if you haven't played the first game) you absolutely need to.
GTA4 Surpassed Ocarina of Time today as the highest ranked game of all time.

p.s I don't hate GTA, in fact I love it but still.. today is a sad day.
Introduction
Another PS3 story, this one's about some analysts who believe the PlayStation 3 stands to gain the most following the release of Rockstar's go-anywhere, shoot-anybody romp. Though both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 are certain to experience a surge in sales[how will this effect Nintendo, if at all?!] upon the game's April 29 release, Michael Pachter tells Reuters that Sony's system will be the winner in this battle.

[one question? why is he using a sniper.. look at the distance, honestly]
Is it too early to say that we're beginning to see a pattern develop here? We know that a mere handful of reviews for Rockstar's latest opus have been published, but should the current trend continue, Grand Theft Auto IV could be the subject of more perfect scores than 1976 Olympic gymnast Nadia Comaneci. Yes, IGN recently dropped the suspiciously non-embargoed first online review for the title, giving it a 10 out of 10 (on both platforms) and evoking the wrath of the Nintendo Defense Force, calling GTA IV "the best game since Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time."
The last perfect 10 rated game was Soul Caliber in 1999.

[that's nice.. just nice]
Silent Hill 5: Homecoming
[this guy takes the meaning of "crippled," to a whole new level]
Returning home has never been such a creepy experience. Well, at least for Alex Shepherd, our main dude for Silent Hill: Homecoming. Perhaps someone should have warned him not to drive out during a misty fog. I guess he didn't get the memo. Anyhow, it's his fault for transporting himself to a place of silent, empty streets. On the bright side of things, if he hadn't done the big no-no, then I wouldn't have these screenshots to show you, or a game for that matter.

[who ever used that, forgot to flush.. ew, just eww]
[reminds me a bit of SAW]
