Ponsardin has not created a profile yet. Maybe tomorrow. Yeah, maybe Ponsardin is a chronic procrastinator. Or just really, really shy. Sadly, the world may never know. Why not send Ponsardin a private message with some words of encouragement?

Well, I haven't returned on this account, just that the profile is now public, so now you can see how many tags I have in the tags tab and in the stats tab on the profile.

And please don't track me again, there's no use for it.

Remember, my new account is IonescoF.

Thank you for your ungodly patience and have a nice day,

IF

Wii Are No Longer Here
Send now all your friend requests and tracking thingies to my brand new account that is Viennoiserie. I wanted to make a change, I wanted to have a breathe of fresh air, I want something else. This stays my decision and even though sometimes I might regret my decision, I think that this will be a positive change. And, my friends, what's the difference anyway? It's a different account, but it's still used by an obscure guy named Ionesco Florin. Maybe things weren't so painful if I was already here during the rewrite or whenever it was when you were able to re-name your account. I know that admins have learned from the past and won't never do this again (more flaws than advantages), but this might happen again sometime in the future...

Until then, I dream on. Folks, it doesn't matter what's outside, but what's inside. Something that has been unfortunately forgotten by the modern society.

Keepin' it real,
Florin a.k.a. Ponsardin a.k.a.Viennoiserie

P.S. Very soon I will begin transferring stuff such like reviews and unions I am a member of. Well, on the reviews part, I still have to wait until Viennoiserie is level 3, but until then... Just to clarify this out, if you read this in the future, you need to go to my new account. And by the way, today I already got an union invite in my new account's inbox... The moment as I write this, my entire profile is private, but I will change this now...

Intentions
Soon I might make a shocking change for most of you - I plan on making soon a switch to another account... Don't get me wrong, 6832 profile views, level 26, nearly 7000 posts and a decent amount of popularity, good reviews and emblem isn't really something that's worthy throwing away, but I don't like at all the fact that all this year I've constantly changed my direction, my attitude, but one thing is for sure - certain errors of the past have been haunting me ever since the period when I was newbie. Well, I shouldn't be surprised, I'm after all a teenager, sure, more intelligent than the average, but still a teenager and a human - therefor, it's normal to make mistakes. The real problem is not that some of those mistakes can lead me to some personal insatisfactions, is my sometimes complete lack of ambition that stopped me doing the right thing from the first moment I made this account. You see, I've always (or almost) had some great ideas in my head, but others were faster than me. In fact, I always had the impression that someone is one step ahead me, that I was maybe born too late (by the way, did I ever mentioned to you that I sincerely wished I would have catched the Lithium period?) even though I could have made the decision, but I didn't wanted to. What I've missed...

I was already a master of "re-doing from scratch". Remember when I wanted to have my post count reseted, or remember when I deleted all the games from my "Games" tab just to start all over again? You would say that I should have done this before surpassing Metal Slime. Well, I don't care so much about stats anymore. Unlike what I think, I simply don't judge a user by its post count or emblems or whatever. If a user is above level 30 and has more than 20,000 posts, that doesn't mean (s)he doesn't have no life, as it doesn't mean that (s)he spammed to get to that post count. Actually, I know some users with many posts that actually manage to be intelligent. Also, if someone is new around the site, that doesn't mean he should put in the same category with all the "n00bs" or trolls. There's a difference between what's on the outside and what's on the inside. Cheap phylosphy...

I don't know what to say. Intentions aren't the same as facts; this might be just another canceled plan... But something isn't there anymore. I used to love the name of Ponsardin, but now I only mildly like it. I used to love earning emblems, but now I simply don't like waiting months for another easy emblem or an emblem that isn't the "live feed" or "tournament participating" types which seem to be really hip these days... I really need to re-establish my priorities... I'll tell you guys if I'll make this big step... Either the decision will be, now I'll going to finally make that alternate account... We'll see if it will be alt for ever.

News from Mods-land, new review and much more

Here's my latest review for Atsumare! GuruGuru Onsen, a classic Japanese game for Sega's Dreamcast console. Scroll down to find out more details on how the review was done.

"I would like to thank the Academy..."
This moderator has been voted among our best and brightest by his or her peers, and also performed fabulously in the swimsuit competition. Lavish your affection upon this upright individual, for your community experience is enhanced by the devotion, the passion, and the mountain-fresh scent of the mod of the month. So, this is how the new Mod of the Month emblem looks like. If spazzx625 was the moderator of January 2007, February's mod of the month is duxup! Discuss the new emblem here.

In the past few days, many things have changed. MAILER_DAEMON, Robbie_IV, CaseyWegner and Shleco are now Master Mods. Tony__c, former iMod, is now a General Moderator too. Judo_boy is now the only iMod left out there, so a mod draft might arrive soon. Kreestas and FreyarHunter are now Targeted Moderators, while Lemieux66 - former Master Mod - and DeviousBroccoli - former Senior Mod - are now downgraded to the General Mod status. pKillerMax has been demoted, while N3MO, famous for being the administrator of The Virtual Underground, has resigned because of the stress, but don't worry, she will still hang out on her board.
This is where the reading ends if you were directed here from the Emblems union. For all the others, continue reading.
The week that is about to end, I was at home, since here in Romania, there's a one-week vacation in February for grades 1-8 (I'm in the 8th grade). For several days, I have been trying to do this review... I've finally managed to found a proper formula yesterday, but I only finished this morning, since I wanted yesterday to watch Monk. I feel more relieved that I have finally done a review after one month in which I have been unable to focus on my efforts... Hope y'all like it and... well... I'm now switching to snooze mode.... zzzzZZZZZ...

What's Wrong With Micro$oft?

So, this is the title of Microsoft's latest attempt to gain a larger success in SE Asia. Probably, people think that no one can beat Sony in disastrous viral marketing...

U R WRONG.

After the Sony's viral marketing attempt, everyone thought this couldn't go any worser. Technically, Microsoft still rules the sales of next-gen consoles thanks to the success of Xbox 360. However, they can't get enough. They didn't cared about SE Asia when they released their consoles later than in the rest of the world, but they now care. WHAT'S WRONG WITH U?

U don't want an Xbox 360, do u?

Let's say you live in Singapore and you stumble upon this site. What Xbox 360 has to offer? "Great Japanese games", "ability to play with friends", "simple online gameplay", "blockbuster titles", "awesome gaming experience" and "looks cool". Wow, I never seen such solid arguments! I gotta buy one now... Wait a minute, why great Japanese games? I mean, we're talking about Singapore, right? And all a customer wants is a gaming console, not another bunch of awesome Xbox 360 icons, emoticons, wallpapers and, of course, spammy ads in your e-mail box... WHAT'S WRONG WITH U?

There's nothing wrong with me. I am sure Ken Kutaragi is thinking: "Why didn't WE come up with this?"... Well, simply because this is way too insulting for Asians. Americans love that kind of logic, but this type of marketing isn't suitable to Asia. The company which made all this non-sense, e-Crusade, confirms that Xbox is on their client list. For sure, they won't get any other client after this scandal...

...If there would be another guy singing "360 is the man", I would have said this is far worser than the PSP viral blog. This way, it's only a bit worser, but it will surely have a strong impact on those markets...

...WhatzUpWithU?!?  Poor Michael Murphy...

A demo of some lighting tech from Cambridge-based firm Geomerics. Their new engine (that looks surprisingly cool) is going to be shown properly at GDC08.
