I'm probably not going to be online during that time, because I'm going to a birthday party in the middle of ****ing nowhere.
Yippee!
So I watched The Bourne Ultimatum today. I have watched the previous movies, but I never really had the motivation to watch the last one. I was going to my local electronics store to buy a CD for my mom (some kind of Creedence Clearwater Revival crap. Yeah, my mom likes that sort of music). Once I had bought the CD for my mom, I decided to walk instead of taking the bus - the weather was good, so there wasn't really any reason for me to waste money on it. During my walk home, I walked past a Playtime Video (the equivalent of a Blockbuster), and I thought to myself, "Hey, Rambo is out on Blu-Ray. Let's see if they have it!" Unfortunately, they didn't. Unwilling to leave the store without buying anything, I checked out the used DVD's they had for sale (they didn't sell Blu-Ray movies; they only rented them), and there was Matt Damon, practically begging me to buy his DVD. I felt bad for little Matt Damon, so I snagged him from the shelf, paid the cashier and made my way home.
I wish I hadn't.
Now, I actually liked the previous Bourne movies - I felt they were a near-perfect mix of great action scenes and a good story - but this movie focused too much on the story instead of the action. It just ended up being a drag. There were points in the movie where I just did something else while leaving the movie to run. That's how boring it gets at certain points.
It's not a horrible movie, but it ain't great either.

In other news, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith has been released. I have watched some gameplay videos of it on YouTube, and it actually looks pretty good. I'll be getting the full bundle with the guitar, since my original Les Paul is pretty much ****ed up, and it's a better deal to buy the bundle instead of getting the game and the guitar seperately. Plus, it has a sweet-ass faceplate. I'm not going to buy it right now, of course, but I'll probably be getting it once I get this wrist thing sorted out.
Speaking of my wrist, it'll be over in about two weeks. I thought they were going to take the screws out while I was drugged up, but apparently not. I just have to take a couple of Aspirin when I wake up, and they're going to yank them out. The nurse told me it might hurt a bit, but it won't be a long-term thing. You know, when a nurse tells you it "might hurt a bit," it's going to hurt like Hell, so I'm not really looking forward to it. Still, it's going to be great to actually use both of my hands again.
I guess that's it. It's not shock-full of content, I know, but atleast it's something.
As a closing, I leave you with this: Stephen Lynch - Lullabye. WARNING: The lyrics might be a tad offensive. He doesn't swear or anything, but the lyrics are a bit controversial.
JFannn: Germany WILL win. They've got too much depth in every position.
NeoJedi: Germany will bring that trophy home today, there's no doubt in my mind. Spain always finds a way to choke, won't be any different today.
1 - 0!
*Don't take this too seriously, guys; it's just a joke.
*
Today is going to be awesome because of one reason: Spain - Germany. I'm rooting for Spain, but I won't be surprised if Germany could end up winning by scoring a goal in the last minute of the game, even though the other team pretty much had them by the balls (game against Turkey says hi). Anyway, I'm keeping my hopes up; I'm hoping for Spain to win 2 - 1. After the annihilation of Russia, where they won 3 - 0, I have a bit more faith in them.
I know I haven't been this active lately, and I haven't been writing a lot of blogs, but bear with me; this whole wrist thing is a pain in the ass, and we've had guests over during the last couple of days. Once I can use both of my hands to write, I'll be a lot more active.
So, my Spore video got deleted. I should have seen it coming, because, y'know, GameSpot doesn't want pixelated penises and saggy nutsacks on their website. I guess that's understandable.
So close to level 25, and now it's gone. Bull****.
