Only my opinions...

I decided to re-evalute my rating on the new Medal of Honor title. I gave it a generous 7.0 originally however after playing a good 10 hours of play I decided to have a little rant. The points I outlined before are still true and valid however I want to add a few new points. I believe EA, DICE and Frostbite totally missed the ball on this one.I belive EA had a real chance taking away a huge piece of the semi to modern war based shooters from theCall of Duty franchise. After the online issues with MW2, the scandals and the fact they wanted to charge a ridiculous amount for DLC's EA could have really stole a lot of fans. Sadly the fell short.

When MOH was first announced for the online beta at E3 I ran out bought BC and signed up for EA's Gun Club.Cause the online open beta was going to be released to all platforms. As an Xbox360 owner I was unfortunately delayed over a month in which I still do not know the reason. Regardless if Microsoft or EA is at fault some CLEAR information to the fans would have been nice. Nevertheless I still played the demo and bought the game.

Firstthe single player mission on HARD is waaaaaay too easy. I completed the game and complted all but one of the single player achievo's in two days.

DICE was in charge of online content fell asleep at the wheel. My issues: Spawn points are awful. I cant tell you how many times I've spawned into gunfire or explosions and died. Spawn killing is way too easy. You are either spawned into gun fire or spawn so far away its annoying to run back to the battle. Being a sniper in first person shooters I feel this game is WAY too stacked in their favour. I have tried both snipping and special-ops (semi-auto machine gun) and cant tell you how frustrating it is when I see 6 snipers all sitting back taking pot shots at targets and not progressing the attack, especially on game modes that require forward movements. Sniper rifles are too strong. Once I unlocked the open tipped bullets it was game over for the opposition. So being on both a gunner and a sniper I have to say the online game play is heavily stacked in the snipers favour. There is little to no customization of my character and there is little to no choices in guns with only 5-6 maps and 5-6 game types. A week and half in and well I'm bored and I'm getting ready to trade my game in. New rating: 5.0 out of 10.
