  Why game alone?

  Why would one want to game alone? Gaming was prety much made for enjoyment. Why play a game by yourself when you can show your best friends up in . Heck it doesnt even have to be a video game who says Risk cant be as fun as ripping someone in half with a chainsaw in Gears. I think publishers need to put out more and better multiplayer games. Yes, there are a alot but you can always find a way to have more fun with friends.

  I commend the Dreamcast for starting the online gaming craze(even if it wasnt perfect)but i commend XBox live even more because they made it so user friendly and just amazing. They always are finding ways to make it better and do more with it. It isnt horribly expensive either. Online gaming is amazing because you can still play with your friends in Florida if you went on vacation to Germany! Its just an amazing thing. I also love how you can make more friends online. I have met a couple people online that i know almost as well as people at my school. I have so many good memories from playing games online.

  MMORPG's are also amazing because you can spend hours upon hours playing and leveling up with friends. Something you cant really do when you play 15min rounds of your favorite shooter. Who would buy WoW if they are anti-social and hated other people. All people who buy it pobably want to make friends or play with friends they already have.

  The worst thing about gaming with friends is when you can beat them 15-0 in slayer on Halo. Sometimes it isnt fun when your skil is like level 70 and your friend is like 15 and you duke it out. Then you make them cry and they never want to play again. Or they say "yes you can beat me in that game but, i can beat you up in real life!" But publishers have found a defense against this. It is called HANDICAP!!! Many gamers probably wont realize this but handicaps can make or break a multiplayer game. Say your trying to play your friend who does nothing but play Halo3 and without handicap you lose by 10 kills. But with handicap is only like 2 or 3 kills instead. Heck you might even beat them once in a while.
