    Los Angeles Convention Center - E3 2008!

Just been watching some of the E3 08 live videos. Great news to all consumers have been announced which should make everyone happy. I didn't make it in time to see the Microsoft press conference but I watched Nintendo and Sony ones.

Ok. I really have to say this: Wii Music sucks!! Yeah, thats right!! Everything was going fine but then when they started talking about Wii music... At first, I was thinking "Maybe its some sort of Guitar Hero game or something related" but then I finally understand that it was simply a game in were you just need to move the controller. I don't think you can even call that a game because I think playing a "game" has to envolve at least some skill, but you don't need skill to "play" Wii Music because you don't need to know anything. You just have to swing the controllers. Ok, so you need to position your hands as if you were playing the instrument but that's it!! Then you just have to move your hands... I don't know how people can find this funny. They will probably get bored after playing for 15 mins. because you can't lose (or win?). Even with all the musics that come with the game, it really doesn't matter because you can't lose. You just have to swing your hands and, even if you are doing everything wrong, the tunes will come out perfectly. That doesn't make any sense. The only people that may find this funny are children of age 0 to 6.

That was just, of course, my opinion. Don't take it personally.

All the rest was cool and Nintendo users should be happy with the new games that are coming out.

Sony announced some really neat things, but my favourite one was a game called MAG (Massice Action Game) that supports up to 256 players online!! Outstanding!! I was shocked!!

And now, about FFXIII going to the 360... I am a bit upset, but as long as I get to play it, It really doesn't bother me.

But there is one thing that I am worried about. The 360 doesn't support Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray stores much more than a DVD. And I'm pretty sure they aren't going to make a 360 game version with multiple disks because it would be awkward. Having to change disks to move to diferent locations... ... won't look very nice. And now, my idea about FFXIII has changed because before I used to think FFXIII would be an immense and incredible, astonishing, and huge experience that would take ages to fully complete, but now, I see it more like the style of FFXII... It was long but I wanted more...

I tought Final Fantasy XIII was a PS3 exclusive because it could only be played on a PS3, just like MGS4. Just like SCEA President Jack Tretton said at Sony E3 08 press conference, "...Games like MGS4 are PS3 exlusives because they CAN ONLY be played on a PS3". MGS4 takes up an entire double layer Blu-Ray disk, which holds up to 50GB, and the A.I. can only work with the PS3's Cell Processor. You can't have MGS4 on the 360 because of this and this is what I was thinking about FFXIII, that it could only be played on the PS3, but now I think in a different way. I just hope that Square Enix knows what they are doing and they can offer a game of great quality like MGS4. But then again, MGS4 was only for the PS3... I'm not saying the games on the 360 can have the same quality as the PS3 games because they can and some of them are better but the PS3 can do better and instead of having a 100 hours game, we have a 20 hours game. A good example can be shown with GTAIV. The game was huge but if it were to be a PS3 exclusive and would take up an entire double-layer Blu-Ray disk, the game would be about 6 times bigger because a Double-Layer DVD takes up to 8.54GB and a double-layer Blu-Ray disk takes up to 50BG, which is about 6 times more... Bigger is not always better tough, but bigger certainly makes it look better. I can say that I am dissapointed but hopefully FFXIII will live up to the hype.

Again, this is only my opinion. Don't take it personally and feel free to share your own opinions.

And I will post in all your blogs tomorrow, don't worry!!

It has begun... (Other random stuff)

Ok, first thing I have to say is sorry for skipping your blogs. Vacations started 2 weeks ago and GS went onto my second plan. I would come to GS but I just didn't posted in your blogs, but I have read some of them.

Not much to say actually... Vacations have started... Have plenty of time to play games and hang out with friends and that's pretty much what I have been doing.

Also, after playing and beating MGS4, I now think the game may actually be worth a 10/10!! It is amazing in every aspect!! I'm hooked up into the online altough it lacks a party system which would be great.

Also, a friend of mine, Stephanime mentioned something funny in one of her lattest blogs that I think I should talk about. It's about dreams. You see, I love to dream. I just like the simple fact that I can dream. Even if it's a nightmare, a night terror, a beautifull dream or just a normal dream, I love it. And I would also like to say that nightmare is not the same thing as a night terror. Night terrors are much more intense and dangerous and the person has trouble awakening while nightmares are just bad dreams. It's hard to remember dreams and it's a shame I don't remember much of them but when I do I try to remember them.

I actually like dreams because of one other thing but I won't say what it is. Altought I have never experienced one of these "special" dreams, they are amazing and I hope one day I can dream these "special" dreams.

Well, now you know something new about me, I love to dream!!

    See you around.

    Wow!!! I'm surprised!!

GameSpot gave MGS4 a 10/10!!! I would never see it coming!! I was so sure they were going to rate it a 9.5!!

But I still stick with my opinion: A game that isn't perfect, can't deserve a 10. But I can say that MGS4 does seem to be better than GTA4 so far. My rating would be a 9.9 or 9.8. The game is great both online and offline. It is everything you wanted and even more!! One thing I can say for sure: MGS4 graphics and sound are the best ones ever seen in the videogame industry!! It exceeded all my expectations and everyone that cares about games has to play this one.

This is going to keep me busy for a loooooong time, especially the online mode... You can't get tired of the game.
