The PC police are out again.
And I don't mean personal computer. I mean political correctness run amok. I have a new record for me, I've been modded 3 times in as many days. Two for disruptive posting and one for trolling. Never sure about trolling but I plead guilty whole heartedly to the disruptive posting. I was trying to provoke a reaction and it worked. Note that none had points removed (which I could care less about) just warnings. It seems that speaking your mind to idiots has done what I'd always known it would do, confuse the spectator as to who was the idiot. I should leave showing absurdity with absurdity to the experts because mine seems to go right over the heads of the uninitiated.
I wear these moderations with a badge of honor but it does give one pause. Why is it okay to flame me but when I flame back I'm the one shut down? It's okay, I really don't care what I'm thought of or if I'm even liked. I'm not afraid of being defined by my enemies, I think it says more about someone then being defined by who their friends are. I've pretty much after all these years figured out who the morons are on these forums and if my days of pulling their chains has come to a moderated (see PC police) slowdown then so be it. I'll still be entertained by their stupidity even if I can't rub their faces in it. I'll have to admit though that the days of getting the morons so mad at me they report me for abuse will be missed. And the future just not as much fun.

My thoughts on gaming and gamers.
Just a short missive to begin. I'm an older gamer and I have made some observations about my hobby and those that share it. Most people complain more then they enjoy. At least from what I've read on the PC Game forums. That's too bad but it's the way it is so there you go. I don't go that way, life is too short to live it unhappy. Therefore I tend to like the games I play and find little to complain about. I'm not saying I don't find faults I just don't obsess over them. Unless they are game breakers like bugs that don't allow progression or battles that are too hard to complete I'll probably get over it and move on. I find that my overall experience much more enjoyable when I remember the fun things over the not so fun things.
Gaming for me like everything else begins with the premise that you'll get what your looking for. If your looking for fun you'll get it and if your looking for faults and something to complain about then that is what you'll get. It's simple to say but it's not always easy to do. With practice however it gets easier and really does make a difference on how you look at things.
Out of time for now. See me later.
