  Fanboyism must be stopped!!!!!

  I know that this is probably in vain but, I might as well try anyway. There are many different types of people on the internet, rascists, religous fanatics, end of the world parinoids the list could go on for hours. These people reside on different parts of the internet, the racists on hate sites, the religous zealots to the religous blogs and the end of the world parinoids on forums. But the gaming community is where different people fall into one. (Like America!) But there is one type of person who annoys others the most. These people are arrogant, obsessive and ingnorant. Who are these people?

  Fanboys.

  Fanboys have no life, they obsess over the console they own and put it above others simply because they own it. But they are different in ways also. Microsoft fanboys enjoy bashing Sony because of sales, Sony fanboys talk about all the power the PS3 has, and Nintendo fanboys (the worst) put the Wii above everything else because of motion sensing and how many people have it. There are PC fanboys but too few of them for me to study accurately. Fanyboyism must be stopped, leave comments people of the world.

  The PSP

  I have been playing portable games since the GB color. I have always enjoyed portable games because I am always on the go and sometimes I don't have time to play a console epic.(Even though I do play console games alot.) When the PSP was first announced I thought of it as a gimmick. Just something to get people to waste their money on. I recieved one for christmas and it was the greatest thing that ever happenedto me. I knew it was destined for greatness.But it had a rocky start.... The launch lineup was great but after that the PSP had some slow times. The games coming out for it were mostly RPGs and puzzle games. I neither of those genres I enjoy sadly and alot of people began give up on the PSP and try out the DS. The DS is the gimmick in my opinion. A bunch of games that have you drawing shapes and poking at things in not fun in my opinion. Yet people continued to purchase the DS. After 3 years the PSP is finally getting some decent games, such as

  • Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow
  • Ratchet and Clank
  • God of War: Chains of Olympus
  • Medal of Honor Heroes 2
  • Manhunt 2
  • And much more

  The DS is a fad just like the Wii and will die out soon. The PSP I think is designed for older audineces rather than 6 to 10 year olds. The PSPs multimedia capabilites are great also so when you're not playing a game you can. Listen to music, surf the web, or watch videos!
