Just in time for the second wave of awesome!

Okay... Maybe not EXACTLY considering the Playstation 3 version of the game doesn't arrive until late October from what I've gathered, but if I wanted the 360 version this would be perfect timing!

Today, as of August 31st, 2008 at approximately 2:03 PM, I beat the Expert career of Rock Band drumming. I'm thinking about going back to do the guitar, but I honestly suck alot at the guitar (I can do expert though), but I just don't feel good on Guitar when I nail anything. I like that sensation of nailing a drum roll on the drums... I will probably wait until Rock Band 2 to even attempt because I always think I'm going to snap my guitar's strum bar.

Anyway, for being my first run and never going back to up my scores (Which I know I could do easily), I'm sitting at rank 3123... Which is quite a laughable difference from my friend Unwashed_Heathen who is ranked 54 on the guitar. I want to atleast make it into under 2,500 and I think I will retire until Rock Band 2 comes out... And atleast beat all the DLC I havn't already.

After that? I may actually be finished with Rock Band for... maybe a week. So I can actually play Metal Gear Solid 4 and GTA4... Actually, anything in my ps3 library that isn't resistance or rock band ha ha. Unforunately, as kind of hinted at, by the time I do what I want in Rock Band... The 2 month gap until Rock Band 2 is released would be heavily diminished giving me about a week or so to enjoy another game...

WHY DID YOU HAVE TO RELEASE ROCK BAND 2 SO EARLY?! 100 SONGS IN ONE WEEK? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! The DLC I can keep up with since I can beat them in a day because they're so easy, but 100 songs in one week that range all difficulties will give me a head ache... Atleast I know all the tempos of different drum rolls now, so it shouldn't be hard at all.

I think though, before I dive into Metal Gear Solid 4... I'll finish Ninja Gaiden Sigma for my youtube account uploads... Then move onto Metal Gear Solid... Despite how much I find Ninja Gaiden kind of boring in comparison.

My nightmare just potentially came true

It seems my ps3 has the elleged "2.4" error where disc games no longer boot for me and just go to a black screen... Why is this such a nightmare? I want my full b/c because I know alot of my games don't have the b/c support and that is the whole reason I bought my ps3 so early.

PS3 broke before my 360 red rings? Who would have thought.

Update: I fixed it myself with my own technical know-how... Blu-Flu isn't that hard to fix believe it or not.

More mods for Rock Band? Yes please!

Kind of a quick post... That I will fill out tomorrow just so I remember, but I think I'm spending more money on modding rock band now then rock band itself. I just figured out how to make a midi usb converter for Rock Band, so that I can use a real electronic drum set... Among that, when Rock Band 2 comes out... I'll have 3 guitars... So I think I'll mod one of my guitars to have a string instead of a strum bar. Maybe even 5 strings just to give it a somewhat "authentic" feel and probably easier to strum... It'll be neat to see how it fairs.

A video blog on what I did on Saturday. Nothing overly special, it just begins my blog series out with why I hate EB games. This is a potential part 1 of another 3 parts, but that's if I decide to upload the rest.
