My Favorite Rock Shows (Part 3)

    Hey again!

Tonight i'll talk you about the latest shows I've attended.

    Rock In Rio Lisboa 2006 - June 3rd 2006

Tara Perdida: one of the best punk-rock shows I've ever been! As great (or even more great) as Offspring, but certainly with more mosh and crowdsurfing . It was an hell of a concert! They played their hits and it was very good overall. It was a brilliant way to start the fourth day of the festival!

Orishas: I don't have many comments for this concert. I hate this kind of music... Latin/Reaggae = poor...

Kasabian: Kasabian was cool, with nice new-rock and alternative songs, giving the public some nice interaction and providing a good time. I can't say it was an excellent show, because it wasn't, in my opinion...I liked it, that's it.

Da Weasel: One of the most successful portuguese bands had the duty to offer a great show at RiR 2006 and they did it. Playing their hits, like "Tas Na Boa" or "Força" they gave the fans a very good concert and prepared them for the unique and legendary Red Hot Chili Peppers!

Red Hot Chili Peppers was excellent! Played every hit except "Around The World" (what a shame..their most powerfull song...), and playing some song of their new album such as "Dani California", "Snow (Hey Oh)", "Tell Me Baby" and "Charlie", it was one of my favorite live shows ever! I also have to say that Frusciante's and Flea's jams are something unique and very good to watch live. They are really good musicians and certainly rock legends!

    7.5/10

    Pearl Jam - September 4th 2006

Oh my God! What a concert! I don't have words to describe it! It was brilliant! Indeed my favorite rock show ever!

    Here's the set list:

Wasted Reprise, Life Wasted, Animal, Corduroy, Severed Hand, World Wide Suicide, Even Flow, I Am Mine, God's Dice, Given To Fly, Do The Evolution, Wishlist, Lukin, Not For You, Comatose, Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Counter, Jeremy, Why Go, Last Kiss, Inside Job, Black, Crazy Mary, Alive, Big Wave, Better Man, Leash, Baba O'Rilley, Yellow Ledbetter.

So what do you say? Haha, I've never seen such a great set list as this one! My favorite moment was when they played "Black". It was so emotional ( in my case it was...) and great!
Eddie Vedder's voice is still amazing and McCready's guitar solos are awesome! What a great show! I'll never forget it!

    10/10

I'm done with live shows for now...

Now, I'm going to spend my last days of holidays with my friends. I'm going for a couple of days to the North of Portugal: Ponte de Lima.

I'll be back with some cool new features to my blog

    See ya!

    Level 24

Today, I got to Level 24 (I Feel Asleep!! - I really do...) on Gamespot.

Yesterday I went to the mall, to buy some clothes and a really cool poster of Incubus.
I went there to buy Resident Evil 4 for my PS2, but it is sold out since June...

So I returned home and invited a friend to dinner at my house and we watched some Prison Break. What a nice serie. I'm on episode 4 of the second season. Have you ever seen it? It's really cool!

I think that today I'll start watching 24 since I got the first and second season.

Tonight I'm going to write the third part of my favorite rock shows, so don't forget to take a look!

    See ya!

    Completed ICO

Today I completed one of the best adventure games I ever played. ICO is definitely a game to have in your collection. It's a rare game to find, and if you find it cheap don't hesitate to buy. I'm going to write a review about this game tomorrow since it's getting late.
Don't forget to take a look when it's done.

Don't forget to read my previous posts about my favorite rock shows (Part 3 is coming tomorrow, by the way)!

    See ya!
