  Saturday Night's alright for a Fight!

  Well good evening to all of my friends out there in Gamespot land! It is Saturday night here in the Pacific Northwest... and I feel the need to fight! Well sort of anyhow... in Tekken 6!

  

  First of all let me just say this... I REALLY LOVE THIS GAME! Finally a fighting game on the XBox 360 that delivers and then some! If you have ever played any fighting games (Street Fighter, Dead or Alive) or any others... you will simply love this game! Button mashing at it's finest! I believe that every gamer should have a variety in their gaming collection... and this is a must have for sure! Yes I got it yesterday for a great price on the Black Friday Sales Day! It was marked down from $59.95 to $39.95! I came home and just kept playing for over 4 to 5 hours! It is simply that great! I also started playing against others online.. and while I am not the best at it... I still enjoy playing it even if I lose!

  The last time I ever played a Tekken game was (yes get ready because it has been a while) on my Playstation! Yes you heard right... my Playstation... not PS2 or PS3!

  

  I loved it so much then and I love it even more now! Back then my character of choice was Nina Williams.

  

  She is still an awesome character and is still avaliable... but I have since moved on to my new character who is lightning fast and has some really awesome moves... Asuka Kazama!

  

  She is just so quick and cool at the same time! If you are up for a match sometime... come on XBox Live... and we can have some fighting fun there!

  Happy Thanksgiving!

  Happy Thanksgiving to all of my awesome friends here on Gamespot!

  

  May you have a wonderful day full of awesome food and time to relax and watch a great movie, enjoy great conversation with your family and friends, or like me... Play some Video Games!

  I was very happy to find out that a game which I really want will be possible for me to get tomorrow.

  

  Tekken 6 is a game I really wanted to get when it very first came out... but I had to decide between it, Dragon's Age (still a game I would like to play also), Borderlands (which I did get) and a few others. It is very tough to decide being they all carry a nice price tag of $59.95 each new. So last night I stopped by my local Gamestop to see what the sales would be on friday... and yes... Tekken 6 will be on a "1 Day Only Sale" price of $39.95!!! WOW!!! I am so happy now!

  I have also been working on finally completing Grand Theft Auto 4 too!

  

  Such a fun game and it looks so nice now that I am using a HDMI connector for my XBox 360! Having access to a Helicopter also makes getting around the islands alot easier too! Why drive whtn you can fly and be there in no time! I am well over the 1/2 way point in the game and some of the missions are quite tough... but not impossible for sure! I usually do a mission or two... then just go crazy in the city creating havoc for fun! Such a great game to have around wihen you just want to play for fun and not for any other reason!

  Monday Morning Update

  Well I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Me and Tsunami have both been not feeling very well this weekend. I stayed in all weekend and relaxed mostly... and feel better now... but she is still sick. My niece also was not well this weekend so we of course put off our usual get together for fun night until next weekend. Oh how the change in weather is nice because I love winter... but not with the flu and colds it brings!

  In gaming news... I have started to play some of the special Ops in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

  

  I was a little disapointed in some of them being that you have to do them in co-op and I don't normally play that way. I might have a friend who will play them with me... but for now I am just playing the single player ones. I also am having a really hard time beating "The Pitt" in under 30 seconds. It is a training course where you have to shoot the targets that pop up... only the bad guys and not the civillians. It is tough but I will eventually get it.

  Looking thru my "Stack O' Games Pile... which is now down to about 13 or so... I found this one...

  

  I started playing it again and let me tell you... I am glad I did! Siince my upgrade to the HDMI cable on my XBox 360... the game has taken an entirely new look! It looks so realistic and pretty... that I have found myself just sightseeing in the game to enjoy it! I did play a couple more missions that just put me over the 1/2 way point... so I will probably finish it up next.Definately not a game I will go for all of the achievements in at this point... but I will keep it in my collection for sure!

  Also against my better judgement I purchased a new game this weekend... Borderlands. I personally played it for about 2 hours or so and am not finding it to be a game I can really get into. I heard all of the hype about it... and a friend at my work told me "you will love it" so I got it... and simply just cannot get into it at all. I will later on this week try to take a fresh look at it again and maybe see if there is somethingthat I am missing in it... but for now... it shall reside on my shelf under the catagory of probably to return to the store!
