  Happy weekend!

  Hello out there to all of my Awesome friends on Gamespot! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend like I am. I have made some changes to my weekly blog... and moved Movie Trivia to Tuesday! Keep and eye out for it. I also switched back to my animate Rose Gif for my avitar. I know alot of people liked it and I do too. I just missed it so much so I went back.

  

  In Gaming news... I got my Tax Refund already... and allowed myself to get a couple of (yes I did) new games! I have so given up on not purchasing any new ones! Yes... I will simply say it...

  My name is Sandpiper... and I am a Video Game Addict!

  That being said... I purchased two new ones on friday!

  

  I actually looked for the first one that I have never gotten to play but they didn't have it. My friend at Gamestop told me it would be good to play the first but I would be updated on the story in the beginning of this one. I will just say this. I really do like this game ALOT! The fighting reminds me of Gears of War alot. I am going to (like in all of my games) progress thru slowily and enjoy it. Not for the Achievements... but just to get the most out of the game.

  

  I paid off my Pre-Order for this on friday... and will SO BE at the midnight release of it at my local Gamestop on Monday night! WOW! That's tomorrow! COOL!

  I really loved the first one alot... and am so looking forward to this one even more!

  On the subject of Bioshock 2... I was at my local Wal-Mart yesterday... and look what I found...

  

  I know that they cannot release the game early... but I thought they were supposed to do the same for the guides as well. I started to glance at it briefly... but then put it away because I don't like to ruin games that I am going to play. Don't get me wrong. I do have a few manuals for games I own... but not many... and really feel they should have left this off the shelves until Tuesday as well.

  Finally in Super Mario Bros Wii... I have advanced to level 7, having played every level before it so as not to bypass using warps. I do have some secrets to go back and get... plus alot of the big coins too... but I really do love it alot! If you own a Wii... you really owe it to yourself to get this game!

  Saturday's with Sandpiper Vol 4

  Hello again to all of my awesome friends out there in Gamespot land! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend playing games or what ever you are doing that makes you happy!

  

  Well it seems I may have made last weeks movie trivia too hard... being no one guess it. Here is both the question and the answer...

  "You know I think you ought to see a doctor, cause that condition of yours could get alot worse!"

  This is from the movie Pretty in Pink with Molly Ringwald. I have all of her movies and just love them.

  Well lets move on to this weeks movie trivia question.

  "So... putting up a satellite dish."
  "It's a... bird bath."
  "I knew that."

  In gaming news... I have made it further in Eternal Sonata. Not a huge amount byt my characters are definately leveling up well. So far my most favorite character in the game is Viola. I think she has the bestest attacks with her bow. I plan to play more this week... so I hope to advance further... but most of all just enjoy the game to the fullest!

  I did pick up a couple of used games (one for the Wii and one for the XBox 360) that are both kinda filler games for fun on the side.

  

  Did you ever need a game that just makes you laugh? This game is hillarious! I have never laughed so much at a game in a long time. You get to go around shooting evil bunnies that have captured you with a toilet plunger gun! SO FUN! If you have a Wii and need a really funny game... try it out... you may really like it for an afternoon of laughs!

  

  Most of my long time friends on here know that I used to play Microsoft Flight Simulator all of the time on my PC. I so miss the days of flying. I saw this last night on the used rack at my local Gamestop and thought I would give it a chance. It didn't get the highest scores but I personally have been enjoying it alot. Some of the missions are quite tough... but I don't want a game I can just walk thru. If you like flying at all... you too might just like this game.

  Then I did the big No No! Yes... I put two more games on Reserve! AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!! Will this madness ever stop! I have so many games to play but keep finding new ones and older ones I want to play! So I put them on reserve... and here they are...

  

  I really do enjoy Pokemon (even though I am not really good at it yet) but like the whole idea alot. This one comes out in about 1 month from now... so I have time to well.. start and finish Pokemon Platinum first!

  

  Oh yes! It is time to dive back down and finish what I started over 2 years ago! I will SO BE GOING to the Midnight Release of this game and because I Pre-Ordered it I will get two additional characters in the game as well when I get it! If ever there was a sequel to a game I wanted to play... this is it for sure!

  Saturday's with Sandpiper Vol 3

  First of all I am very sorry to have missed blogging yesterday. I spent the entire time with my niece so I didn't really get on the computer very much. So... how has everybody been doing? I hope you are all having a great weekend. I personally am because I have been playing games of course. First of all... let's get right over to Movie Trivia!

  

  Well yes... there is yet another victory for Ebbderelict. He guessed last weeks movie trivia right again! Can anybody here stop his winning streak? Lets see what happens this week.

  First of all the question and answer from last week...

  "He is very busy, and you are very boring! Your offer must inspire him."

  This came from my most favorite movie of all time... The Saint! I have watched it more than any other movie in my collection I think. Over 150 times for sure!

  Here is this weeks challenge... what movie did this line come from...

  Now on to the gaming side of my life! Let's start off with friday.

  

  Friday night I had another one of my friend's who wanted to play some Co-Op Spec Op's in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. We did and I got another 3 or four done. They sure do get alot tougher on the higher levels. Hopefully someday I will get all of them doine... but only time will tel. I am just about to the half way point with them because I now have over 30 stars in Spec Ops...

  

  In other gaming news, I know I was trying so very hard not to purchase any new games (with the exception of the one I have on reserve coming out next month) but I stopped by a local used books store and that thought quickly ended. I found a really awesome copy for only about $9.00 of a game for the PC I never got to play but always wanted to.

  

  I have always heard such great things about this game and let me say this. I think it is really awesome! I played for about 1 hour or so yesterday and am really loving it alot. I heard it is kinda a short game... but still the storyline and graphics are very nice!

  

  Simply the best RPG game ever in my opinion. I just finished FORT FERMATA and am now on my way to Forte City! I am in no rush to finish this game being I am doing one game at a time now on each system. This is one game I will be going for all of the achivements in however being I started out doing that when I began playing. If you have not played this game and love RPG's... get it!

  
  This game for the Wii is simply amazing! I have barely scratched the surface so to speak of playing it because the map that you have to search is so huge! I have done only about 3 missions, taking the occasional client on a dive to show some fish here and there... but it still amazes me each time I load it up! If you want a game that is more than a game... but a trip into an endless area of beautiful things to see and discover... this game is so for you! No score, no time limit, no real agenda, just pure relaxation at it's finiest with a breathtaking ocean landscape around each and every corner! By the way... did I tell you I just found a Humpback Whale! He was so very cool and I spent 15 minutes playing with him. I will see if there is a way to get the pictures I took in the game uploaded somehow to show you just how beautiful this game really is!

  

  Finally I have still to beat this game on the DSI. I am at the last level... but unfortunately my Pokemon are not strong enough to win the battle against the final four! I am going to start taking it to work and get my pokemon leveled up even higher with the hopes of beating this game! I so want to because I have Pokemon Platinum right here beside me to play next... and the new ones are getting ready to come out!
