We live in crazy-busy times for sure. As modern people we are spoilt for choice.

Im currently working through a backlog of 360 games that includes Dragons Dogma, Xcom Enemy Unknown, Borderlands 2 Halo 4, Far Cry 3, Dead Space 3 and Resident Evil 6. Being a glutton for punishment, I decided to look at the games coming soon that I intend to play. Ive got my work cut out for me....

February - Aliens Colonial Marines, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Crysis 3
March - Tomb Raider, Gears of War: Judgment, Bioshock Infinite
April - Star Trek

When you take in to account the games yet to have firm release dates (Metro: Last Light, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Remember me, Star Wars 1313) and of course Grand Theft Auto 5 in September, it doesnt appear that I will have time for things like eating, sleeping etc.

I was looking forward to the next-gen console announcements but looking through this list of games, Im pretty happy with the current generation thank-you very much.

Of course I could just say **** it and play more Super Meat Boy.

Yeah, XCOM has managed to please the original fans & appeal to a new audience at the same time. Firaxis games did a great job.

I'm pleased to say I had a huge session on Borderlands 2 today, and after nearly 50 hours playtime I feel I've come to a good stopping place (several hours in to a new game+). Amazingly fun game.

:) I think XCOM will be my next target. I've been on a strategy kick. Replayed FFT recently and am now making my way through the new Fire Emblem game. Heard nothing but great things about the new XCOM. And yeah, FE kept me up last night, and I woke up early this morning thinking about it. That's just friggin' sad.
