I am still alive
So as of late I've been very inactive, only occasionally posting on some of the boards and trying to post in your blogs. The reasons for my inactivity are just though.
After being asked to become a moderator at the Total War Center, I've been spending a lot of time there due to an initiation period you have to go through before you officially become a Mod where you learn the ropes and prove your not going to be some power crazy lunatic.
Other than spending most of my online time there, I've not done much in terms of gaming. I've dabbled in some Super Mario Galaxy and some PC gaming but other than that, it's been all quiet on the gaming front.
Hopefully games like Fallout, Fable and Gears 2 will reignite my interest in gaming but for now it has indefinitely taken a back seat.
Regards

Got a Wii!

Today I fell into temptation and bought a Wii along with Super Mario Galaxy and an extra controller. It's been raining all day today so I could play without feeling guilty that I'm missing the summer sunshine which has been pretty non-existent this past week.
I first started off creating my Mii which doesn't really look anything like me, but is tall and thin which makes it pretty obvious. I then decided to play some Wii Sports, my brother was out so I didn't really get to see what it was like with two players but I imagine it would have been better.
Next up, I tried out Super Mario Galaxy which is, to put it so eloquently, awesome. It's so refreshing to play something different from the games I have been playing on the 360.
Speaking of different, I also got to try out Guitar Hero 3 which my brother bought for his PS3. I had never tried Guitar Hero before as I wasn't a fan of the genre but after playing it I can see why so many people like it. It's oddly addicting, and while I struggle at even Medium difficulty, it's still a lot of fun.
I've also been nominated to be a moderator on another gaming forum I'm apart of. It's a site based on the Total War franchise called TWCenter (Total War Center). It's a privilege to be one considering It is the longest time I've spent on a site and remained active.
Gamespot's also changed into Gamespot Wide. I've been a fan of it since its unveiling, it's much more easy on the eye on the previous version of the site. My only peeve is that on game's gamespaces the forum, image, etc links are down the side rather than across. I'm sure I'll get used to it.
I'll cut this blog short by saying, yesterday was my two year anniversary at Gamespot. Go me!

Got My Exam Results
Today my exam results came in the post, i was really nervous as the results i got would determine if i got into the university i want to go to. I spent 15 minutes staring at the large envelope reading the words "Please Do Not bend" before finally opening to find that i got:
Geography - A
Modern Studies - A
Religious, Moral and Philosophical Studies - A
Business Management - BSo i now have to sort out all my stuff for university. For the results, i also got a fairly large batch of money. I may get a game or two depending on if i find anything that attracts my interest. Anyway, i have to go pack - i'm going to stay with my girlfriend for a couple of days and see the special screening of Hellboy 2 today.

Have a nice mid-week, everyone!
