It's no secret that the Playstation Vita is struggling in terms of sales. Sony's desperation to sell the system became very apparent to me when I stumbled across a topic in the Forums that led me to this PS Vita Contest Sony is doing. Basically they are offering $20 of PSN credit for people referring others to the PS Vita, who will also earn $20 PSN credit, and both supposedly will also receive 1000 Rewards Points which can be spent on "Sony Rewards" and is equivalent to $10.

Anyway, the person who posted the aforementioned topic was of course trying to "refer" people, as this is a contest and prizes and whatnot are involved. Essentially, this person provided a link and referral code, and all you gotta do is enter some basic information along with your Playstation Vita's serial number. I did this, and I supposedly have this $20 PSN credit pending (4-6 weeks).

I'm not sure if it will absolutely work, but I went ahead and obtained my own referral code and so far have referred a few others. I don't want to get in trouble for posting the link and referral code as I'm not entirely sure if this is allowed(I've all ready gotten a topic locked on a Forum on another site). In the contest itself you're only supposed to use e-mail and social media like Facebook, but anyway, if you're interested and own a Vita or are planning to get one very soon (the contest ends February 28) shoot me a message and I will provide the link and code you need to enter to become "referred", which if successful should earn you the $20 PSN credit and it only takes but a minute if you have your Vita handy.

I know this probably sounds fishy and I was skeptical, but it is in fact an offical Sony deal, just check out the previous link if you aren't sure. Google it to be double sure.

So, that's it. Even though this is questionable in terms if I'm allowed to post this and only a few people view my blogs anyway, I figured I'd go ahead and post this anyway. I've been enjoying my Vita, though it's been a couple of weeks since I've really played it. Still have a few games to play/finish up, but after that I'm not sure what I'll be playing on it. Future games aren't looking too promising, except for that Killzone game, I suppose.

Again, feel free to PM me if you are interested in this. There's no risk and at worst you'll waste a minute or two of your life.

Eh, I kind of like the promotion. It's win-win-win. Wins across the board. I'll get a Vita eventually, I just need to see new games. And with the developer-friendly PS4 soon out, I doubt many great games will come to it exclusively.

Guess that is nice, but don't have Playstation Vita, will likely pick one up once it starts to get a better selection of games.

@-Vulpix- Can't blame you there. I'm going to run out of games to play sooner than I'd like. Fortunately that's not the case with the PS3...
