Plot

During a business trip to Afghanistan to demonstrate Stark Industries' new weapon, the "Jericho" cluster missile, Tony Stark's convoy is attacked. One of his own company's bombs lands near him and explodes. The blast causes him to lose consciousness and embeds several pieces of shrapnel in his chest, one fragment dangerously close to his heart.

The Incredible Hulk

The Incredible Hulk (Theatrical Poster)

Plot

The film's back-story is detailed during flashbacks, which are mostly in the opening credits, and further exposition. General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross (William Hurt) hired scientist and radiation expert Dr. Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) to revive a World War II era military bio-force enhancement research project (to create "supersoldiers"). Banner exposed himself to gamma radiation, which results in him becoming a giant, green-skinned monster called the Hulk, and hospitalizing Ross' daughter Betty (Liv Tyler), who was Banner's colleague and lover. Now a fugitive from the United States Army, Banner went on the run for five years.

Comic Book: Stan Lee, Jack Kirby

Starring: Edward Norton (The Hulk), Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, William Hurt

The Marvel Surprise

Marvel Logo

At the end of each of these movies there is a Marvel Surprise that might freak out Marvel fanatics and if you already watched it don't worry. I'm guessing they will just put it on the Blu-ray disc / DVD versions of the movie once released as a hard copy. What's really cool is that if you watch Iron Man first than The Incredible Hulk it has more significance. I will have my thoughts on both of these movies soon, hopefully.

Mental Note: It's after the credits when you'll see the Marvel surprise that will freak you out.

PlayStation Network: No Editing Online IDs

No Editing Online IDs

PlayStation Network Logo

PlayStation Network

I was playing online recently and I was talking to people online until we got to the point when we were talking about PlayStation Network IDs (Identification). I soon realized that you can't change / edit your online ID and most people make a new account. For me that won't work if I decide to change my name because I have purchased items from the PlayStation Store. If I go through with it that would mean I would have to re-buy everything in the store again. For most people this might have been common knowledge but it just never occurred to me to check, I just always thought you could change it any time.

XBOX Live LogoMicrosoft Points Logo

XBOX Live

On XBOX Live you're able to change your online ID for 800Image:Microsoftpoint.gif Microsoft Points (MP) and for each 100Image:Microsoftpoint.gif MP in Canada (CAN) it's $1.45. That would be a total of $11.60 in real life which isn't bad it's about the same price as a game add-on. This is expected because Microsoft handles all the online stuff for the XBOX 360 so they have all the information for the leader boards. Even though it doesn't really change the experience it makes you relaxed because you know your name isn't set in stone.

PlayStation 3 Cross Media Bar (System Update)

Firmware Update System Update Icon

I just hope Sony sneaks in a firmware update or people start randomly complaining because of the demand. Like how Microsoft didn't include an HDMI port on the XBOX 360 then came out with the XBOX 360 Elite with an HDMI port. They eventually sneaked in HDMI ports in all the consoles making the focus on the HDMI when it should've been the hard drive when it came to the Elite. This doesn't bother me but from time to time I do think about changing my name every so often. After finding this out it's like man if only there was a warning of some kind I might have picked another name or something.

System Update Method (PlayStation 3)

The only example to express how I feel, it's like ever since you were young you heard that Canada's Wonderland had a ride called the Drop Zone. It was one of the best rides available and finally you're 18 you go there for the first time and realize they replaced it. For some reason it kept malfunctioning, for people's safety they had to replace it. It doesn't ruin your whole experience there, but it just makes you want to go back in time so you could experience it. That's how it basically is without editing your online ID with the PlayStation Network it doesn't ruin the experience but makes you want to go back in time so you can change it to whatever you want.

System Update Downloading (PlayStation 3)

All well people who have seen my name either really hate it or really like it. I've met people who have made at least two accounts because of the no editing. At first I just thought it was just the number of people playing on the console. Now I know it's because they wanted to change their names or made a mistake on it. It should be easy to do since developers have to link the PlayStation Network to their servers. So when they update the stats it will just change to the new name the person has changed it to. It would also be good to charge people to get some money out of the people who keep changing their names. I'm actually surprised no one complained about this because with game journalist today they'll complain over the littlest things. In other words they cry over spilt milk. From what I've seen Sony is adding features that are in demand instead of including a whole bunch not knowing if people will be using it. So here's to hoping the next update will include online ID edits.

Mental Note: This should have been in my top 5 for what I don't like about my PlayStation 3.

Impressions: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Limited Edition (PlayStation 3)

Campaign

So far I've done Act 1 - Act 3 and all I can say is that this game is amazing the game play changes dramatically. Everything they show in the trailers is all in the first Act and in each Act you change locations. With each Act game play changes. Once you hit Act 3: Third Sun things get really interesting and there is even an interactive cinematic that will blow you away. When it first happened I was thinking that it was still a cut scene wondering when I will play, until I died. Act 4: Twin Suns is a very emotional Act and I haven't even seen a cinematic yet. Once you play the game you'll know what I'm talking about when I say emotional. What really blows my mind is when Sunny makes eggs during the Mission Briefing. I swear to God it looks so real you're going to think it's a real-time footage but every cinematic is in-game graphics. Don't get me wrong there are certainly parts in the game that you know for sure it is a video game but the Mission Briefings keep getting me at even when I've seen it already.

With the cinematics in the game that editors / reviewers were writing about all I have to say is that I look forward to everyone. I'm not done the game yet and what I've seen so far this game just blows the competition especially Act 3: Third Sun, I've never seen that in a game before. People were jumping for joy when they saw Alone in the Dark: Walkthrough Chapter 4: Enviornmental Dangers (yes Game Trailers spelled it wrong, lol). Too bad I haven't experience more of that from what I experienced it isn't the same type of game play but along those lines cinematics mixed in with game play.

Metal Gear Online Starter Pack

Before going online you have to sign up for a Konami ID then a Konami Game ID on their website through the game. When I first saw this I was like wait I have to go on the computer but when you enter into the Konami IDs screen it uses the consoles browser. That is also used for the Official Site, Community Support Page, MGO Shop, and Online Manual. In my opinion I think this is good because on other consoles to check the community sites you have to go on a computer. This is a very good use of the console's browser for video games. I just hope Insomniac is looking at this when they make their community web site for their game. You eventually have to make a character that you name, choose a voice, face, and gear. Once that's all done you're pretty much ready to go online and battle up to 16 players at once.

The main menu has your usual stuff like Online News, Mail, Clan, Personal Data, and Rankings. What's really cool is that you can do training in lobbies with experienced players for combat training. Everything you can do in the campaign you can do in the multiplayer battles. All the QCQ (Close Quarters Combat) is there with a catch. Everything you do has a levelling system even the QCQ, to Assault Rifles, you name it, and all of it is tracked and will allow your player to be better as you level up. What I really like about Metal Gear Online is that you can link nanomachines (SOP Link) in your bodies when doing a team based game to constantly know the locations of your teammates. How does this benefit you, well whatever happens to your avatar / character you'll send a signal to your team mates linked up with the SOP Links. Once you die you lose the link and to do this you have to have your teammate in sight then press triangle to activate it.

To give you an idea of how CQC came be in the game if experienced enough you can grab your enemy equipped with a hand gun and knife. You press and hold R1 to grab your opponent, press the "R1" button just as your avatar pulls the target toward you to make them release their weapon, press the cross (X) button to kneel, release "R1" and push the left joy stick forward while still released, quickly hold down the "R1" button to perform a choke. In this position you can knock them out or hold it longer to kill them. It sound complicated but it's really simple once you actually get to do it. I find dropping their weapon then knocking them down makes more sense but this is just showing you that you can combine them.

The game supports voice chat, text, and preset voice commends just for the people you don't want to type yet want to communicate. The game mode I like the most is the Sneaking Mission, 12 people are usually playing 2 being the middle faction. One being the MG (Metal Gear) MK (Mark) II and the other as Old Snake, while red and blue is fighting the MG MK II / Snake have to get 3 dog tags to win. You have all the abilities from the campaign so it's everyone's game. If a certain player keeps killing Snake it's over, once you die as Snake you have to reclaim the dog tags again, or if Red / Blue wins the battle before Snake / MG MK II win they (Snake / MG MK II) lose. There is a lot of depth to the game yet at the same time it's very easy to get into.

Mental Note: I'm playing the campaign on Big Boss Hard difficulty so it might take me a bit longer than an average gamer.

Some_One_Plays: Subconscious Interview: Next Generation TV Consoles

Next Generation TV Consoles

Second generation: 1976-1984 (8 yrs)
Video game crash of 1983
Third generation: 1983-1992 (9 yrs)
Fourth generation: 1987-1996 (9 yrs)
Fifth generation: 1993-2002 (9 yrs)
Sixth generation: 1998-2006 (8yrs)
Seventh generation: 2004-?

Questions

Kadeem's Subconsious: The average lifespan of a TV console is about 5 years, will you be ready to buy the next ones come around 1010-1011?

Kadeem Boyd: No I'm not ready to buy the next generation consoles within 2 to three years from now.

KS: Why?

I personally think this generation of consoles will last longer than all the previous generation of consoles. I think this because now they offer so much more than just video games that the aging of the consoles can be slower than the usual. I can now watch movies, down load movie trailers, video game trailers, go online, chat, video chat, downloadable games, play Blu-ray discs etc. There is so much more than just gaming that it can last me for a while longer because it's now my media hub for pretty much anything. I do think the Wii will age a lot faster considering the fact it doesn't offer anything but gaming.

KS: Will you eventually upgrade?

KB: Yes I will eventually upgrade based on one of two things one, the company stops supporting the console two, if all it offers more than just graphics.

KS: What will make you buy a next generation console?

KB: If I was convinced that the stuff they're doing with the next console can't be achieved with my current console. I think this is what's driving the console industry today, what can the new on offer that the one I have can't? If the company can achieve something much great I'll look into it because I don't want to spend money on something new if it's just the same console with better graphics. What's the difference of watching a 1080p movie on the PlayStation 3 compared to the PlayStation 4, a 1080p movie is a 1080p movie.

KS: What do you think will drive next generation gaming?

The Island (2005)

KB: I think more stuff like Nintendo did with the Wii where just simply playing a game everyone is use to in a totally different way. At the same time having too much of something can make the console's down fault. It would have to be the combination of different elements like the Dreamcast controller with a screen in the middle. I also think of having two different hard drives can make a difference. In general it would have to be the combination of the little things mixed in with the bigger things. For example having two hard drives one for firmware updates and another for game saves for something. Whether that would be needed or not but adding features like PlayStation Home will take up hard drive space and with installs it would be a little more convenient. Overall I think it will be more focused on how we play games rather than what features we have.

KS: What console do you think will last the longest and why?

Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PlayStation 3)

KB: I honestly think the PlayStation 3 will last the longest not just because it's my console of choice. It's the decisions they've made with the console they've incorporated Blu-ray disc technology, video, pictures, WiFi, key board / mouse, online, OS (Operating System), etc. The console can do so much more than the competition that it will be like owning a TV. TVs do get old but as the times go by TVs are starting to age a little slower now. If new Blu-ray discs come out all Sony needs to do it release a firmware update to make it compatible with the PlayStation 3. Their way of thinking in the future can actually give them some time to release better hardware than the competition. Once PlayStation Home is released that can be where people can keep going for new content and such. It's obvious whatever is in the PlayStation 3 through firmware will be preinstalled in the next.

The Phantom (Phantom Entertainment)

Phantom Lap BoardPhantom Mouse

Second would be the Microsoft XBOX 360 because it has media features as well. I say it will be second because as of speaking right now the updates can't bring it to the level of the PlayStation 3 can. If a new disc comes out you can't have a firmware update to play the movies since it's Blu-ray now. With digital distribution it won't take over but can only be an alternative plus the PlayStation 3 will have it as well. If all my games were digitally distributed I would be deleting and adding so much especially with games like Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 (Wii)

Nintendo's Wii is last because even though it focuses on games that will be its down fault to its aging. There is a reason why the PlayStation 2 keeps selling and I personally think it's a DVD player out of the box. If you give a console more uses it will last a lot longer; how often do you change your computer?

KS: What if you are wrong?

KB: If I'm wrong I'm wrong but I do know for a fact if the next consoles don't offer anything that my last console can't do I won't be buying it. It's either you go expensive and get the latest technology to give you time for making a new console, or you make it cheap allowing shorter time for a new console. Either way the next generation consoles would have to do more than just graphics this time around to me to buy the next one. Graphics will always get better but given the fact they pampered us with all these features I'm going to want more the next time around.

KS: Do you think Microsoft launching their console first this generation helped them this time around and if so do you think doing that again will help?

KB: Honestly that was smart yet risky at the same time because Microsoft didn't think of the future. If it was like the PlayStation 3 and was launched a year early I think the XBOX 360 would've been way in the lead. Being first doesn't necessarily mean you're winner. I think of the console race like a cross country race because you're leading now it doesn't mean you'll lead the whole time. It's all about pacing yourself because if you screw up the little things it can hurt you in the end.

XBOX 360 (Microsoft)

Going into the next generation I think it doesn't matter who's first anymore unless it's some TV console is redefining how we play (interact with) video games. Otherwise what's the reason to rush out and get a console that basically does what the last one does? I said this before technology means a whole lot this generation than the last. The more tech you have the longer the console will last and the better the tech the more it can out due the previous console. Does anyone really want a Wii 2?

KS: When do you think the next generation console should come out and why?

KB: I say around seven to ten years time because it's what I said before consoles now do more than just gaming.

KS: Gaming consoles are gaming machines first so don't the games matter?

KB: Yes I know they're gaming machines first and just look at the PlayStation 2 still breathing life into games. I consider consoles like buying a house once you make the investment something better be worth me moving out when all I need is at this location. It's like I said the next generation would have to focus more on interaction with video games than media features. If the PlayStation 3 is the first Blu-ray player in people's houses that console is there to stay, unless otherwise.

KS: How confident are you in your opinion about not being interested in the next two years for a new console?

KB: Speaking right now I'm ninety percent sure even if normal television broadcasts in full 1080p a lot of people still won't have full HD (High Definition). I will admit technology does move pretty fast but at the same time you go to a theatre and what has changed in the last twenty years? Certain things move while others go at a very steady pace we still don't see electrical cars but people are worried about global warming. Wars are going on with no one doesn't even know why they're fighting in the first place. Basically what I'm trying to say is if the world doesn't evolve as a whole, how will video game consoles?

KS: If someone came to you disagreeing with you what would be your main argument for your point?

Spore (PC)

KB: I'll say just look at the PC (Personal Computer) gaming community a lot of them are moving over. Not because they don't like playing them but you constantly have to upgrade to play the best games. It's like re-renovating your house every five years when it you just finished in four, you're constantly dishing out money. The gaming community in my opinion move too fast especially PC developers the push the hardware so much only the lucky few enjoy it for what it really is. My sister still plays the Sims 2 in low to medium settings her PC can't handle seventy-five percent of the PC games out there.

Killzone 2Too Human (XBOX 360)

Then you look at TV console development moving slower and slower Too Human (1/3) is in nine years in development. It started on the PlayStation now an XBOX 360 title what's keeping them for so long. Halo 3 took three years, Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII will take long, Killzone 2 will be four, Assassin's Creed, Fable 2, Banjo Kazooie 3, Heavy Rain: The Origami Killer...the list just goes on.

Lol, in simple terms development times are much longer this time around. Overall we'll just have to see how much technology advances till that time. It took me seven years to upgrade to the PlayStation 3 not five.

Some_One_Plays: 5 Things I Don't Like About My XBOX 360

Five Things I don't like About My XBOX 360

XBOX 360

I might like my XBOX 360 but there are some things that bothered me and some that still bother me. Overall I personally think it's still a good console and don't regret anything.

Test XBOX Live Connection (XBOX 360)

1. NAT: Moderate

NAT (Network Address Translation) can ruin your experience on XBOX Live by avoiding certain protocols allowing you not to do certain things. There are three NAT statuses Strict, Moderate, and Open that is very similar to PlayStation Network NAT Status (Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3). The ideal status is Open because this means that you have no restrictions what so ever.

NAT Status:

Strict: Is the worst set-up you can have and only allows you to talk/play with people with NAT Status of Open only. This can also makes some match making in certain games a lot slower with this NAT Type.

Moderate: This is a better network set-up than Strict but can only talk/play with people of NAT Status of Open/Moderate. This also slows down match making in certain games like Halo 3 for example.

Open: This is the best network set-up and you're able to talk/play with everyone on XBOX Live with no restrictions.

Mental Note: NAT can also prevent you from doing other things like video chat for example.

Linksys EasyLink Advisor (WRT54GS): XBOX 360

My Network (tab) -> click Advanced View (located right beside the tab "Support" -> click the main router (if you have more than one) -> under details click "Log onto Router" -> in put password (should be with the papers that come with the router) -> Administration (tab) -> Management (sub-tab) -> Enable UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) -> Save Settings (located at the bottom)

If you remember what I did with my PlayStation 3 I disabled the UPnP so I wouldn't get the Error 8002AD23. So in order to keep both machines running the way I want it, I changed some router settings just for the people who're wondering. Technically speaking these two shouldn't work together but so far so good if push comes to shove I'll keep the XBOX 360 NAT Status at Moderate.

Linksys EasyLink Advisor (WRT54GS): PlayStation 3

My Network (tab) -> click Advanced View (located right beside the tab "Support" -> click the main router (if you have more than one) -> under details click "Log onto Router" -> in put password (should be with the papers that come with the router) -> Applications & Gaming (tab) -> DMZ (sub-tab) -> click Enable -> Enter Console IP Address (PlayStation 3) under DMZ Host IP Address -> Save Settings (located at the bottom)

Mental Note: You can also set-up the (PlayStation 3) network connection manually to disable UPnP and it is best to set a Static IP (Internet Protocol) Address. A Static IP Address prevents other wireless devices conflicting with each other when connectioning to the router at the same time.

XBOX 360 Controller

2. Controller: Directional-Pad

I don't like playing fighting games using the Microsoft XBOX 360 controller because of the D-Pad can't execute moves properly. The design of the D-Pad is meshed together or better yet it's like the PlayStation Portable analog stick tilting. I discovered this when I purchased the Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting. It was when Virtual Fighter 5 for the XBOX 360 was going to have online so I decided to get the game. No one complains about it much so it must be only be me but I know for sure I won't be getting any fighting games on this console. On the bright side of things the XBOX 360 D-Pad is good with diagonal executions when trying to perform moves.

Play & Charge Cable (XBOX 360)

3. Controller: Built-in/Packaged Rechargeable Battery

This has to be one of the things that kind of annoy you if you don't know ahead of time because I know I would have if my laptop came with disposable batteries (4.5-Volt, D, C, AA, AAA, 9-Volt, SR41/AG3, SR44/AG13). I'm telling you the little things can make the value of an object worth buying. This is something Microsoft can easily change it isn't Rocket Science but, the demand isn't there so why would they?

XBOX 360 Wireless Network Adapter

4. Accessories: Wireless Network Adapter

This would be a big help if it was built-in the console itself instead of buying an accessory to get WiFi. This might not bother most people but when you have a laptop, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, DS, and Wii with built-in WiFi life is so much easier.

XBOX Live Marketplace Blade

5. XBOX Live Marketplace: Navigation

The navigation for the XBOX Live Marketplace for me is kind of a little frustrating when you search the entire library. It's frustrating because if I search the entire library I have to search the entire library in one list in alphabetical order. What this means is that if I'm looking for a game that starts with the letter "Z" that would mean I have to go through all the As-Ys to get to it. There are quite a few things in the Marketplace that you have to go through too. It would have been great if there was a different system when searching everything in the Marketplace because with more content every year it will only get worse.

Gender Inequality: Body Image: Part III

The Fight for a Perfect Image Continues

Phat Girls Movie Poster Superbad Movie Poster

The purpose of this blog is to give people a whole new perspective on how they see men in general. Most of the time people think that men are just heartless fighters when in actual reality men are more so like woman. When it comes to their body's men can be as sensitive as women but it's for different reasons. A woman will get plastic surgery to look better as a whole person while a man will want to look better for that promotion or job opportunity. So I want to open a whole new light on people in the working force that women aren't the only ones being pressured to look a certain way.

Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery with Men

Arnold Schwarzenegger Arnold Schwarzenegger

Jeff: I want a girl that is skinny, has a small but, long legs, and curly short hair. Bob: Your taste is so off the perfect girl for me would have to have big breast, a wide waste, and a big but. Kenny: You're both wrong I like my girls that are bigger than the usual because they have everything. Bob what are you talking about all big women are ugly and are embarrassing to be around in public everyone knows it. Kenny: ya you're right I just wanted to see what you guys thought about bigger women. Jeff: It's obvious everyone wants smaller women. This is most likely a typical conversation that men will most likely have with their buddies but they're never talking about themselves personally. More and more men are getting plastic / cosmetic surgery these days. Why men are so discreet about themselves yet talk about women so openly and most times hurt them. So I'll be talking about the numbers of men that are going to surgeons for what procedures, the reasons why men are going, and one of the most problematic part of the body in slit detail.

Since the year 2000 there has been a 200% increasing with Botox injections with many other procedures. With Botox, laser skin surfacing, and eyelid shaping more popular with men between the ages of 35 - 50 years. Dr. Stephen Mulholland, cosmetic surgeon said, "When I first started 10 years ago, I might see one guy a month. Now about 20 to 25 percent of my clients are guys." Breast reduction (Gynecomastia) around 19, 881 men, hair transplant around 20, 473 men, and liposuction around 35, 020 men. All these numbers were taken from a 2006 figure and is just growing as the years go by.

The reasons why most of these men are doing this is because of the jobs they're doing. With an office job older men might not get that promotion because of their aging bodies. Whether it be the case or not, a lot of men do it to get that promotion so surgery is an option. Another popular reason for a man to get surgery are the comments that people make of their bodies. With these comments a lot of men have a low self-esteem. With men being the person to confront women for dates, and doing that when you have something called Gyncomastia will be very difficult. What can frustrate men is that they can't really get ride of Gyncomastia because in most cases can't be eliminated with exercise. With these two problems on men's bodies can lead to a very deep depression without many people even realizing what they're doing to men with these problems. Most cases men will be very shy because of the acceptance, so if they can't get acceptance there's no point of doing it (telling women). So with the image that we have that women can only have breasts is actually not true which results into jokes when men do have breasts.

Gynacomastia

What is it?

Well before I tell you what it is I'll explain how breasts are formed in females and males. In Females their breasts are formed by estrogen and males it's testosterone. Males that have gynacomastia will start to produce more estrogen than testosterone creating breasts. In every male there will always be some for of breast tissue but the gynacomastia is an overdose of the breast tissue creating breasts. In other words Gynocomastia is extra breast tissue because of their body is producing more estrogen than testosterone.

What causes this chemical change?

There are at least seven reasons of what could be the reasons why men start growing breasts to a point where they get made fun of. The twelve possible causes are:

  • puberty
  • steroid abuse
  • obesity
  • marijuana use (this is in question)
  • tumors
  • genetic disorders
  • chronic liver disease
  • side effects of many medications
  • castration (losing the function of his testicles)
  • Klinefelter Syndrome (development of small testicles / reduced fertility)
  • Gilbert's Syndrome (hereditary cause of increased bilirubin)
  • Aging

As you can see puberty, aging, steroid abuse, and obesity are listed in the twelve causes that I've found. The reason why I'm mentioning this is because there are the ones that will most likely affect younger males and the older males that want to get that promotion. This can be seen more so with younger males than older males because younger males are the ones we notice more. With younger males they're the ones who usually want to go out to parties, go swimming, or just simply hanging out with friends at the mall. With that said they can be living with such a deep depression that can go with them for the rest of their lives.

What can you do about Gynocomastia?

As stated before obesity can be the cause of certain men of having Gynocomastia but it isn't the case 100% of the time. With 10% of the men population men getting breasts and slowly growing with men of all sizes. In fact Gynocomastia is more common with thinner men than it is with larger men. Once you have Gynocomastia it can only be surgically removed surgically by a licensed doctor is best. With most people that might be common sense but since it's more common for someone to pick a doctor outside the country for a lot less can be attractive to most. The surgery is a little different than most because removing breasts on males requires the doctor to feel the areas needed of suction. Therefore mistakes can happen like:

  • The chest can be concaved (dented in)
  • Scars
  • Recessed nipples
  • Muscles can be cut (doctor's knowledge)
  • Flesh eating bacteria infection
  • Lose feeling in nipples

For the most part it's about what doctors you go to and as well knowing the difference between mastectomy (completely / partially removing a breast) and gynocomastia (taking the excess tissue out) reduction. With the scars there will always be scars but doctors try to minimize as much as possible. If you go into the surgery in a realistic kind of attitude you'll be pleasantly pleased with the results. The biggest problem of having gynocomastia is that it can turn into breast cancer which in the general public is known as a woman's cancer.

Structural Functionalism

Men in the Canadian society are still being shown has some big heartless fighter that should have this big corporate job. It is slowly being noticed to the public that men can be just like women when it comes to their bodies. Just for the most part a lot of men that get surgery get it for their jobs or because they don't like how people will see them. With men being this fighter it would be abnormal for a male to start breaking out crying or to say stop that you're hurting my feelings especially adults. The preconceived notion is that males who are much older (adults) have overcome their shyness and all those teen feelings. When in actual reality it's just more heightened than anything.

Conflict

This country isn't growing all that much when it comes to gender inequality in general. For the most part the gap is much closer between women and men like voting, career choice, and just freedom to do what they want when they want. This is where I personally think where we're focusing too much on making women stereotypes gone and not realizing that men are humans. Usually when a person is bullied the person being the bully is the one who's most unconscious about their own self. So with men being the bully to women all these years we've failed to realize that it was men who were not happy of themselves. With that said they only have one outlet to show these feelings which is being part of a hierarchy and male dominance.

Symbolic Interactionist

In this country the males are still suppose to be the heartless fighter with the amazing jobs to roll in the money. The women are getting more freedom and stereotypes are being straightened out allowing a woman to pretty much do what they want when they want. With that said a lot of woman in my opinion can pretty much get a away with murder figuratively and literally. Karla Holmoka was a serial killer who tricked women even her own sister (15 years) to rape and give to her husband to do the same. I'm not saying that women have too much freedom it's that we often think women are weak when they're not.

Once people start realizing that women are independent to take care of themselves we can target some bigger issues before there's another killing. Since men have no outlet besides violence there might be bigger problems than whether or not a female should be working on a construction site. I'm not saying women's rights are less important I just think there was too much focus on that matter. It was more on how people treated women and not whether or not they can do what men can do. I'll admit that men tend to be way more violent than women at times but no one does anything. Putting people in jail isn't solving the problem. It's an alternative but it doesn't minimize the violence we see because they'll just continue killing from the inside. At first you'll be like at least it's amongst themselves and not the innocent. Well there are a lot of males in jail for just simply doing wrestling moves on their friends in other words they're in jail for the wrong reasons.

Mental Note: The country I'm talking about is Canada it's the only country I really know and a song on YouTube I think best describes what I'm talking is called " Time After Time" by Palex. I even like the video they have of Degrassi The Next Generation and what's even better a woman is singing it.
