  Why Zelda games are vastly better than Mario games

  Mario games have peaked at Mario 64, we all know this, it isn't even opinion. While on the other hand, many people would argue that Skyward Sword was the best Zelda game yet! Then let's take into account that of ACTUAL Mario games there are really more than Zelda games. By actual games this means games where Link/Mario is the protagonist and doesn't just make a cameo appearance or one of the many random games the Mario series has spawned over the decades. You can't really say that there are any bad Zelda games (excluding CD-i) but you can say there are bad Mario games. Then there is the redundancy in every Mario game, the majority are practically the same with some minor tweaks to them whereas Zelda has greatly differing levels and especially weapons. The most redundant thing in Mario has to be Bowser is in practically all of them whereas Ganon is not even in half, only 7 out of 16 of them unless you count the linked ending in Oracle as two appearances instead of one.
