  New Halo Figures!!!!!

  i got some new halo 3 series 3 figures a few days ago (ok a week ago) and i im posting late due to internet problems.

  anyway i got 8 that day and they are..

  Master Chief-

  it comes with a sniper and a spike grenade, the sniper scope fell off so i super glued it back and painted the end of the scope gold which it was missing. i modded the spike grenade so i could have it fit on his back, it didn't come with a peg or hole. the hip joint to the leg on one side doesn't move good, but if you get past some minor flaws its a good figure. OH and this is the first figure i got to pose like it does on the box.

  this comes with a shield and plasma pistol. i didn't find anything wrong with this yet except that with his chicken legs its hard to get to stand up right, so i have to make a base for it.

  War Chieftain-

  he comes with a huge fuel rod gun and a removable helmet (which is sharp as hell). he is big and heavy and like the the brute chieftain you cant really move his arms and legs that much. in the pics you see the gun in both hands, well that's imposable to do cause the joints are too stiff and they have too little articulation, also the limbs are too short. the gun has NO hole or peg so you can put it on him which is weird cause he has a peg hole on his leg, so i guess i have to mod this when i get around to it.

  Spartin Soldier Hayabusa (red)-

  he comes with a BR and a grenade, hands down the coolest looking figure to date. his chest and shoulders are interchangeable and the shoulders stay on way better than the series 1 EVA. but in-order to remove the chest you must remove the head since the extended collar goes all the way around.

  Elite Combat (blue)-

  he comes with 2 plasma rifles, the purple on the top and bottoms of them are duller than the brighter colors in the pics. his armor is a more a steel blue but in the pics he is a bluer blue. i just discovered this yesterday the helmet, chest and shoulders CAN BE REMOVED which means there will be more elites made in the future. one major flaw is that it comes with 2 plasma rifles but there are no holes to store them, so i guess i have to check out where elites put their weapons in halo 3 and mod the legs. the box shows a covenant carbide on his back and yet they don't include one. and finally i want to add that the hands are closed and it makes it vary hard to slip the guns in so i have to mod them carefully so's not to make the guns too lose.

  the 5 above cost me $73.50 with tax ($14.00 without) at the comic shop.

  next i went to eb games and picked up a new headset cause my other one broke.....again.got it for $16.79 with tax($14.99 without) and its ok i have to talk a bit louder but the only other one they had was this http://www.ebgames.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=43410 and from what i hear they break in a few weeks.

  next i went back to the comic shop and got 2 more figures.

  Spartin Soldier Scout (crimson)-

  he comes with a shotgun and grenade, his head, chest and shoulders are removable. his shoulder parts are flatter that the pics and in the game. this figure is a Diamond Comic Distributors exclusive. i haven't posed much cause i think the left hand might break off if i move it, its got a white plastic stress mark meaning it is weak. same thing is going on with my series 2 CQB.

  Spartin Soldier Rogue (olive)-

  he comes with a brute shot and grenade, head, chest and shoulders are removable. the chest and shoulders are the mark IV. the brute shot didn't come with a peg or hole for it to fit on the back, so i modded it after looking at how it went in the game. and it looks good on the back. some flaws i found were the belt/crotch armor doesn't come together and has spaces where 2 half's come to meet. and because of that the grenade falls out of the waist. also the right foot was molded badly making the toe not able to move leading for it to break off, so i super glued it back into place. its fixed but now i cant move the tow up or down or rotate it.

  those 2 figures cost me $29.40, so all those figures cost me $102.90.

  and finally i went to walmart to see if they finally got some halo 3 figures in, and to my surprise THEY DID. they have never had them before. so i saw they they had alot i think they had the chief, elite, war chieftain, rogue and flood. so i decided to get the only one i didn't have......

  Flood Combat Human-

  he only comes with a SMG and a stand platform. it doesn't have many moving parts but he is very detailed down to the individual teeth in the humans mouth.

  the tags said $14.something but when i took it to a checker it was $9.92 ($11.11 with tax) and i couldn't believe it, how cheap they were compared to the comic shop. i could have saved at least $20 if i went to walmart.

  so all the series 3 figures have 10 halo points, what are halo points? they are points you get so you can buy stuff like this- http://www.mcfarlane.com/halopoints/ . i have 250 points i can afford the lithograph, the sword, the red recon armor, or the blue recon armor. what i really want is the gold master chief, but if i cant get that than i think i will go for the lithograph and sword.

  oh and if you have some figures and want tome help modding them just tell me and i will make a blog on how to do it.

  Season 6, TRON!!!!! and more.

  today i finally got Season 6 of Dragon Ball Zgot it for $44.61 with tax, also got TRON the 20th anniversary collectors edition got that for $14.37 with tax, i have been waiting ages for walmart to have this in again and i cant wait to watch it.

  and i cant believe i missed this the first time looking at the dvds but i also got the 5th and 6th dbz movie dvds Tree of Might / Lord Sluggot that for $22.83 with tax.

  next i went to zellers and to my surprise they had a sale on ps2 controllersfor $16.80 with tax, reg $34.96 so i couldn't pass that deal up. now i can start pwning n00bs at area 51 again(cause the First Person Shooter controller sucks at FPS)

  and finally i got a charge cable for my 360 (my old one is broken somehow)

  its called the Smart Charge Cable it tells you if your battery is at 25%, 50%, 75% or full charge. so that cost me $11.20 with tax.

  so thats all i got today.

  oh and i did put another $20 on dead space which i cant wait for.

  2 new games.

  today i got even more games from blockbuster.

  the 2 games i got today were Star Trek: Legacy and Dead Head Fred they were both $14.99 and the total for both was $33.58 not that bad............

  untill i poped in dead head fred and found out that the analog stick on my psp is somehow messed up, whenever i move it up, right or down it sticks in that direction and "fred" keeps running up down or in a right circle and i have NO idea how to fix it.

  and this is the first time i noticed this, all my other games dont show this problem, what do i do?
