(Worth mentioning:I earned the Ratchet and Clank All 4 One platinum 2 months ago.Didn't feel like mentioning it though,for now on I doubt I will unless I really care.)

Yes,I earned the Revengence platinum trophy today.What makes it hard to earn for the normal person is these 2 trophies:

Virtually a God
Set the highest score on every VR mission

Painful,painful,painful.Most of these VR missions are painful to get the highest rank in,but mission 18 is absolute hell,taking me over 5 hours to complete.

Becoming a Lightning God
Complete Story Mode on Revengeance Difficulty with all S Rankings

Now this is hard yet also easy.If you do this without using checkpoints,cheap weapons,and no backup saves,I salute you for being better then me.However,few people do that.You can restart from checkpoints in case you get hit(no damage plays a big factor in this trophy),backup saves in case you die(it auto-saves,ruining your score),and use cheap items if your just in it for the platinum.

cheap items:

Fox Blade: (pre order bonus) a weapon including the soul of Grey Fox,it can kill any enemy that isn't a boss in one hit.The complete definition of overpowered.

Wigs:The Yellow wig that grants infinite ammo isn't too cheap,in fact you pretty much need it to S-rank one part of the game(I'll bring it up later),but the other two wigs grant infinite blade mode(therefore unlimited Ripper mode as well),and cut-in-one-blade mode attacks,similar to the fox blade,just not as cheap.

and its worth mentioning that even with these weapons,on Revengence difficulty you still need to go through getting no damage on almost every boss in the game if you want the S rank.Or getting a real good score.

Now if your wondering how my final playthrough went for the S-rank:

I didn't use the fox blade at least up until chapter R03 aside from one point in R02,since the checkpoint was far away from where I would be if I restarted.In chapter R03,it was used near the end because I thought it was stupid you had to kill guards when your weakened(as in,barely fighting) for a rank.

However,it was the beginning of R04 that pissed me off.Your in the balcony of a hallway and you have to use two turrets or rocket launchers to attack enemies from far away in the building.That.Was.Stupid.

completely stupid,for there wasn't enough rocket launchers to kill the people in the hallway,and if you used the turret,you would get hit by someones RPG missile,not to mention it was impossible to get through that with no damage.The only way to beat that part(and therefore S rank it,usually) on revengence difficulty was to wear the unlimited ammo wig so you can beat the annoying rocket launching idiots.This part of the game was actually optional,but if you want to S-rank the chapter,you need to S-rank the entire parts of the act.After that awful part,I really didn't care what my weapon was anymore,and I also didn't care if I was using a wig anymore,since it pissed me off that badly.Not like it really mattered though,since thats pretty much the halfway point of the game,maybe more.

However,by the end of the game,I managed to care once again,and beat the final boss with no unlimited blade mode wig or whatever,and when that final QTE happened,it gave off an awesome blast of achievementness.

Now that only thing is:Why?Why did I aim for the games platinum trophy when there are way more easier platinum trophies you can get?and why didn't I just use cheap weapons throughout the whole game?

Its because I don't even call trophies like this trophies.No.I call them by their true origin:Achievements.The feeling of accomplishing something greatly hard is amazing,it is stuff like that that drives people to beat hard games such as Ninja Gaiden.When it comes to platinum trophies,most of the time when you get them all you can stop worrying about them whenever you play the game again,which is also great,i'd love to platinum Mortal Kombat so I can stop giving so much playtime to characters other then Kitana.

Not to mention,doing something hard that other people can't do gives you the right to make fun of them and brag.After all,I am forever able to brag to a normal edition owner that I have this:

Now that I have it all done,I guess I shall take a break from my crazy addiction of this game,and perhaps play something in the unfinished pile such as Bayonetta.After all,there's 30 new vr missions,new blades,and new scenarios coming to this game in the future,and I'm sure it will be great to return to the game when they come out.

But until then,I have other games on the hype train now...in fact,I have two more collectors edition games coming out soon...
