  Net Neutrality

  **Listen Up Everyone. Important News** There has been a HUGE issue boiling under the surface about the internet for YEARS now; *Net Neutrality*. To put it simply, many big-name companies would like to make it harder/more expensive for us to view certain parts of the internet. ALL of us have become savvy net-users andsee how the internet is shaping our culture. Some of us (like myself) have embraced the internet as the new social/media focal point. If companies can control this, they control the media and to an extent politics. Imagine YOUR Internet Service Provider becoming the next Fox News? That's what happens if they CONTROL WHAT YOU CAN DO AND SEE ONLINE.
  
  This is a major issue that hasn't been getting much attention. Partially because "The Powers That Be" don't utilize the internet the way that we do. And They CAN afford to pay a lot extra if need be. So why broadcast it, if THEY don't care? Here is more information on Net Neutrality in a nutshell: http://www.acslaw.org/node/12453.   My 1st BLOG

  Because I've been wanting to start a blog, and because I took the time to write this (admittedly only decent) letter about Net Neutrality, I decided to shamelessly use 1up.com or Gamespot for my own purpose. I'm not sure which site I'll stick with. I like the look of 1up, but feel no connection with them since EGM got the boot. On the other hand, I like Gamespot for it's content and reviews. It's a tad dark by default, but I like it being connected to Facebook and Gamefaqs. So We'll see. For now I'll be on Gamespot. We'll see how this blogging thing goes.

  I'm sure I'm not the first, but I wanted to address a few of my buddies about Net Neutrality. I guess this is relevant here because: This Could Mean A Separate Charge To Play Consoles Online! So check out my next blog where I present an introduction to those not in the know about Net Neutrality.

  In the future I plan to share my opinions on games. What I'm currently doing in games. And anything in between. If anything, I'll amuse at least myself. Thanks for reading.
