  EDIT: I also bought the original Mega Man on the Virtual Console. Still as difficult as I remember it.

  Gamerscore Retrospective

  In this blog, I'll be taking a look back on my gamerscore since owning my X360.

  I joined 360Voice.com very shortly after purchasing my X360 and have recently returned to the site after a long absense and was interested in the graph of my gamerscore over time since registering. After seeing the display, there were a couple of noticeable periods of inactivity as well as some intense periods of gaming. Combining a few sources of data, I was able to pinpoint what I was doing or what happened during these periods of time and would like to share that with you all. The time range for this graph is 12/6/06 to 8/19/08.

  

  A: 2/18/07 to 2/27/07, 1510 points. This was during the X360/Old Spice Achievement Challenge. I was playing Fight Night Round 3 as well as Crackdown. Even with Fight Night being as easy as it was, 1510 points in 9 days is not to shabby!

  B: 8/27/07 to 10/12/07, 0 points. A dark time set in as my X360 red-ring'd and I was without it for almost two months. During this time Halo 3 was released and all I could do was stare at the game disc until my console returned...

  C: 10/14/07 to 11/26/07, 2019 points. As a result of having my console break, I had a queue of games to play when I finally got back online. Halo 3, CoD4, Assassin's Creed, Madden 08, GH2 and Puzzle Quest all contributed to one of the more intense point-gaining periods of owning my X360.

  D: 1/20/08 to 5/10/08, 615 points. A period of 110 days while averaging only 6 points per day can be attributed to having a good number of games on systems other than my X360. The list included Jeanne D'Arc, Advance wars, No More Heroes, Altair's Chronicles, The Show 08 and God of War: CoO.
