  First Blog Post: Why do I hate the PS3 so much? (Serious question, not ranting).

  Through out this new generation of systems and my time here at gamespot I have always sided for Microsoft and the 360. I would stand up for them if they said that they had a new interactive game that killed babys. I have no clue why, but Microsoft just seems to appeal to me. But does it really? Do i love MS or do I just hate Sony?

  The first console I ever had was a PS2. I got it as a Barmitzvah present and was so excited when I started playing. Before that my parents would only let me play gameboy so playing a console was a big deal to me. I loved my PS2 my parents bought me an xbox and it got abused. I loved my PS2 it had the most games and all the games I wanted I could get used since I got it so late.

  Their enlies the problem. The fact that I got the PS2 so late, I couldn't side with Sony because by the time I started to get into it all the talk about the next generation of systems begun. The only thing I was hearing about was the 360 since it was the first one coming out. That's where MS won me over, I got into the age of the PS2 and the XBOX only months before they got replaced. I wasn't able to experince the same type of enjoyment all my friends could. Sub Conciously I didn't want that to happen again so since the 360 was coming out first I was going to get it love it and embrace it.

  Of course I still wanted to get the PS3 when I didn't know much about it. But when all the details came out about the high price I decided that the PS3 was so similar in games to the 360 it wasn't worth having both. My love for Sony faded because of the launch time. I didn't even care my first 360 was bugged and I had to wait for it to get fixed. The simple fact that I had the console around the time it launched for me.

  Over this period of time I have begun thinking what if I still was loyal to Sony. The answer is I would of been heart broken because of the lack of games and the cost. So MS I will be your fanboy forever and ever.
