  I Was Back

  I'm Back

  Howdy all.  Well I'm back from my vacation.  I still have quite a few things left to do to get ready for the semester and whatnot.  As well, I need to sort through the pictures and post them up, which will take a day or two.  Hopefully by tonight, I'll have more time and start posting on yall's blogs again laters

  Another Monitor up in Flames

  
  Well not too long ago, my LCD got screwed up less than 3 months after purchase, so after going through a bunch of stuff with the company I finally got it sent in on warranty.
  
  While waiting for that monitor to be fixed and shipped back, I decided to hook up my backup CRT monitor, which I believe was nearing the end of its lifespan anyway
  
  Less than a day after hooking that one up, it burns out and won't turn on. Gah.
  
  So now I'm on a third monitor, another LCD that I recently bought; however, this time I decided to unhook the crossfire setup till I can find more support on the issue and just use the one video card to power the monitor.
  
  Although it might not have been the problem, my guess is that it is possible the dual cards were overpowering the monitors and shortening their lifespans.
  
  Now I am just hoping this new monitor doesn't go up as well, *crosses fingers*

  As for what's positive; my level jumped another 13% over night and I shall be officially on vaction tomorrow
