All About UmonDaisuke

    I'm out.

I haven't been very active in general, and truth be told, the site's value as a source of news and interesting editorials has diminished over the years. It's virtually non-existent now to the point where forums like NeoGAF are far better news sources alongside some blogs like Kotaku.

I've met some interesting people in the past 4 years, so I bid you farewell. Take care.

Tekken goes online, and Soul Calibur hits the PS3 and 360

No, not Tekken 6, but that's inevitable. T5 DR will be receiving an upgrade that enables online play, and addssome new modes, including practice; 2800Y for the full game at 1.4GB, or 1000Y for the upgrade to those who already have the game.

    Nifty, no?

The latter news is self explanatory, with a 2008 release on both consoles. I suppose with Tekken going online, it's not too farfetched to assume that SC will follow suit as well.

    Dawn of Sigma

The Asian version is shipping two days early (today) from Play Asia, but yours truly will get his from NCS. PA's shipping could take weeks, thereby making the point of getting the game earlier moot since the US version is out on July 2.

Part of Team Ninja's marketing efforts was linking the PSN demo to the final game. Basically, the essence carries over to the final game, so it is a rather interesting move. An uninteresting one would be using pop icon Leah Dizon as the spokesperson -_- There is an event going on on Friday, where the winner of a competition goes home with a signed poster by Ms. Dizon.. instead of one signed by Team Ninja's Sigma team.
