Upcoming Games
My apologies now but I think I'm going to ignore all E3 blogs, so if you don't get any comments from me, don't take offense.
Moving on.
With some big games coming out this fall, I need to and want to catch up on my back log. So here's what I'd like to accomplish at some point.
1. Finish the story of GTA at least. I doubt I'll have ambition for pigeons and jumps but I'd like to finish the story.
2. Start and finish The World Ends With You.
3. Unlock everything in Bleach Heat The Soul 5 (as well as catch up on the anime).
4. Play through Dead Rising
Weird, that's all I could think of but they're enough to keep me busy for a while. Not to mention Burnout Paradise's Davis update in August, Elefunk, PixelJunk Eden, and some other things due out over the next few weeks.

I was gonna blog about E3...but...
It's boring as all hell right now.
Some small observations:
1. So what, the 360 gets FFXIII. Didn't all the boxboys say that Bioshock would never be on the ps3? Look, honestly, the days of console exclusive days are over. The only exslusive that will retain in a few years time will be Mario. And if Nintendo was given enough sackfuls of money like SE was, then they'll release Mario too. That's just the way it works, as crappy as it it, that's just the way things are gonna be for gamers over the god only knows how many years. And we're the ones that have to pay for it. Shouldn't we stand up to what we love being bought out like it's just another piece of meat regardless of what console we each favor?
2. Um, so who hasn't copied who this year? Avatars? Singing games? Music games with extra controllers? Music games in general? XMB style dashboards? Originality anyone?
3. Kristen Reilly is an awful host for anything and everything game related. Where's Jody? She's intelligent and witty. Kristen is something something and that something something is not something good. If there was a mute Kristen only button, I'd be pretty damn happy. I'm sorry, but without Rich, Jeff, Alex and E3 sucking as it is, it sucks even more. There's no personality hosting. I'm sorry, but there isn't. Homer is obnoxious and is a tool. Guy is awesome but not shown much, Ryan is ok, KVO is awesome(but I haven't seen him yet), and Aaron is awesome as well. I cringed during the stage show tonite.
4. E3 is boring. Beyond boring this year. There's no personality, not excitement, no nothing. Where's all the surprises? Where's all the games? TGS is better than this by far now.
I think I'm over the shock of XIII, I'm laughing at the xbox fans hating the new dashboard-xmb system and miivatars, I'm still loving LBP, I'm curious if the portal game will need the orange box to play on the 360, PJE still looks awesomely niche, and I'm still hoping for some big announcements at some point but at the same point I doubt myself.
Am I the only one bored by all this for the most part?

My Only Gripe About Trophies
I haven't become a trophy whore yet but I do have one complaint.
Co-op Trophies.
I hate em.
Why? Well, not everyone has someone to do co-op with. Hell, I don't even have a second controller.
If dev's are gonna include co-op trophies, the games should have online co-op as well.

Kotaku's E3 Predicitions
Below is what the editors at Kotaku are predicting about e3 (note: everything after this is written by them, not me):
linky
That burning sensation you're feeling? E3 Fever! With just days to go before the event kicks off formally, speculation is running rampant. Publishers are revealing their line-ups, console manufacturer figureheads are getting their last-minute chemical peels and Ubisoft is scrambling to fit all of its Petz offerings in a 100 square foot allocation at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
And we're making our own guesses about what we'll be seeing from Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony at their respective media briefings. Some things, like X-waggle, a new Animal Crossing and another appearance from PlayStation Home are practically guaranteed. But what surprises will companies like EA, Sega, Take-Two and Capcom bring?
We've thought long, hard and then, harder once more, to nail down our best guesses on what we can expect from E3 2008. Hit the jump for our laser precise insight into what we'll be treated to next week.

Mystery Blog Revealed ???
What doesn't belong here? (mind you, I'm not looking for your fanboy response, those that follow along should know the answer)

It should be ovbious but in case it isn't....
The Answer is:
The wiimote.
My mom bought herself a wii so now "I" technically have a wii as well. She picked up Wii Play, Carnival Games, and SSX Blur(for me, lol) as well as Wii Sports that came with it.
And now that I've played the wii...I can honestly say I still don't like it and don't get what the big deal is. I got bored very quickly but that's just me. I've maybe played on it a total of two hours since mom got it. Though that's partly due to the fact that the wii is downstairs in the living room and not here in my room. I'm gonna try and play some more later. SSX Blur would have been the only reason I would have gone out and bought a wii myself but now I didn't have to. Heh. Perhaps down the line I'll get more games for it. De Blob is something I might get as I loved the pc version. Mom has a whole list of games she wants so who knows, I might find something else I like but as of right now, meh. Bowling is fun for about 10 minutes and then beyond that I'm not impressed. But again, that's just me and for the record, I hate the sixaxis controls. Only two games make use of it well where it's required to use it (flow and super rub-a-dub). Perhaps SSX will sway me into liking it more. I do like the visuals and presentation of the game overall. The controls however leave little to be desired. But we'll see.
Well, katamari...you got your wish and I got mine. I got a wii and you got a ps3.
