  Sometimes, You Just Know

  It's that time again. For whatever reason, you load up your Internet browser and check your friends' blogs on GameSpot, and then out of the blue, you see someone bidding farewell. The majority of those come crawling back, but there are some folks you know that won't. I've been there myself, kind of. I never said I was definitively leaving, but those who have been tracking my blog for a while will know that I've taken breaks before. I even took the decision to create a new account. I was careful with my choice of words, because deep down, I knew I was going to come back.
  
  But this time, I don't know, it feels different. I don't make time to read my friends' blogs, let alone post in mine, and I no longer feel I have any purpose staying here. There was once a time where I was often giving nitpicky critiques to budding reviewers. There was once a time where I was running Guitar Hero leagues (with Alex Navarro once competing--one of the highlights of my numerous years here). There was once a time where I listened to the HotSpot, watched On the Spot, and read GameSpot's reviews. Now, there's nothing for me. It's time to turn over a new leaf, as the saying goes.
  
  I'll just get to the point now and say those dreaded words: I'm leaving GameSpot. I've met some awesome people in my time here, really. If you want to keep in touch, I'm still around here and here. Anyway, I guess I'll see you around.
