  Ya know what really grinds my gears?

  Ya know what really grinds my gears America? Nintendo does. I have been a long fan of Nintendo, from Mario Kart 64 all the way to Super Mario Galaxy. Ocarina of Time to Twilight Princess. Monkey ball to Monkey ball. Well you get the idea then, eh? Now, things started to fall apart with the Gamecube release of NBA street volume 3. It's really not my kind of game, but I saw an ad for it, showing Mario stuffing Carmelo Anthony. This brought two things to my mind: 1. being from Colorado and a Syracuse fan, there's NO WAY someone like Mario, as talented as he is, could have anything on Carmelo. 2: Why is Mario even on the same poster as Carmelo?!?!? Reading more, I saw that you could actually unlock Mario, Luigi, and Peach as a team. Hey that's kind of cool. A tad too much product placement for me, but I don't care, because I don't play NBA street. Nintendo's next monstrosity hit far closer to home. As I saw posters for SSX on Tour, I was appalled to once again see our "favorite" plumber shredding it up with legends such as Psymon and Elise. This made me angry, so I purchased on Tour for my PS2 as opposed to Gamecube. And the final blow, striking this time at one of my very favorite series of all time. Of course I'm talking about Kingdom Hearts. In EGM, I saw a small blurb about a game for the Wii coming in 2008 called; get this, Mushroom Kingdom Hearts. It's like Nintendo took a beyond amazing franchise, and simply squatted down and shat Mario shat all over it. As a fan already counting down the days until KH3, which hasn't even been announced, if this messes with the overall story of KH at all, heads are going to roll, at the point of my very angry keyblade.

  So I went down and bought the new Zelda for my Wii. And let me tell you who are the proud, the many, the zelda fans, that it is superb. The Wii controls are very nice indeed.....
