So the past couple of days went by in an alcohol infused blur. Wednesday, Thursday, and yeah we'll count Friday. It's what happens when the group of engineers I'm with decides to head off to Happy Hour on Wednesdays and there's a birthday party on Thursday that started at 4:00 in the afternoon. So yeah. Fun stuff. This blog will ideally detail Thursday's events, or at least the interesting parts of it that is. I managed to invite my neighbor to the same bar as the birthday party for a drink thinking the party wouldn't last terribly long. Looking back at it, it wasn't the best idea.

"Well hello neighbor," Yagr says as he joins his neighbor and cute friend.

"Well hey neighbor," neighbor replies and introduces Yagr to cute friend. The three of them begin chatting and laughing all the while the Shark's first playoff game plays on the TVs in front of them. People scream in celebration with each goal and moan in depression with each goal against. Everything was going great until Yagr is pulled away suddenly by a trio of his engineer buddies.

"Yeah?" Yagr asks the trio.

"He-hey. I-I just want to make sure of what you-you're doing right now," one of them says with a slurred speech. She wavers slightly as she tries to look serious. "I want to make sure you're trying to sleep with them otherwise I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to...Huhhhhh. I'm going to take you back to the party."

Yagr looks at her and wonders how much she had. He tries to make her go away, but she relents.

"I'm a, I'm a bro dude," she says moving her head in a 'girlfriend' manner. "I just want a 'Yes' from you then I'll, then I'll leave you be. Because I'm a bro."

A few minutes of pestering later, Yagr returns to the neighbor and friend and continues talking. Drinks are ordered and fun times are had. Then one of Yagr's engineering friends appears beside him.

"So yeah hockey game," the big engineer said with a hint of a grin, and before Yagr could say anything, the big guy turns his attention to the two girls. "Hey, are you two from Tennessee? Cause you're the only tens I see."

An awkward silence ensues to which Yagr pushes the big engineer away saying: "Go away, you're making it awkward." The big engineer heads back to the party giggling madly.

The night goes on and occasionally the bro girl would grab Yagr's ass or bump into him while the big engineer would return to offer his lame awkward inducing pick up liners. The second of which was "Hey, are any of you from Spain? Cause you're the only rain on the plain I see," to which Yagr pushed him away saying: "That doesn't even make sense!"

Finally, near the end of the evening, Yagr's school advisor approaches. By this time, the two girls knew something was going on and were grinning as the man gave Yagr a hard time. Knowing the sideshow is over, the two girls decide to call it a night. Yagr and a helpful friend start talking to them seeing if they would like to join everyone for more drinks at a different party. The two girls say no, yet the type of no that indicates they're not 100% sure yet. Everything is going fine until the big engineer returns.

"So you two are in school right?" The two girls nod. "Then where do you find the time for all the modeling you do?" Yagr and the helpful friend sigh and go after the big engineer who is at this point giggling madly once again knowing that they just lost the two girl's interest. Afterwards, once the two girls are gone, Yagr's advisor approaches. "Now I know why you've been late in getting a couple of files sent to me."

So yeah. That's pretty much how it went down for the first half of Thursday. The second half involved more booze. Friday was interesting in that every one of us had a meeting at 9:30 that morning. It was a fun meeting to say the least. This was followed by a game night at the clubroom where I met an unbelievably cute girl WHO LIKES ZELDA! Must marry her!

Then I headed off to my grandmothers for the weekend and check out The Hunger Games movie. So. Busy busy. I need to get more work done on my thesis though. >_>
