After all these years of slavery to my county's school system, I'm finally free! I get to leave the high school behind and persue higher education in the fall. Some of my fellow students said they would miss the high school, but I'm overjoyed that we can leave and never come back. After I took my diploma from the principal, I forgot about the sun constantly being in my eyes or how bad some of the speeches were. The only thing running through my mind was, "I'm done. It's finished."

Words really can't express my relief. High school sucked, but I did learn a lot and had a few memorable teachers. Now, I'm going to take it easy this summer - visit friends, work, play games, and stay active here on Gamespot. I'll need the time to relax, because college is only a few months away and I have been accepted for a Computer Science major.

Alrighty, I'm finally back on this site after seven months of absence. A lot seems to have changed on here while I've been gone. Nearly all of the unions I was associated with are now dead, and some of the guys on my friends list have been idle for quite a time. There is one nice suprise though - gamespot brought back the Top Community Reviewer awards.

This school year was really tough. Physics and Calculus aren't exactly a walk in the park. However, that's all done and I will be graduating from high school soon. I'll finally have free time to review and play games again! W00T! At least until I go to college in the fall.

I recently wrote two reviews. One for Heavenly Sword(PS3), and another for Smackdown VS RAW 2008(Wii). If any of you could take a look at those and maybe put down a recommendation, I would greatly appreciate it.

Crysis will likely be my next review. My PC is able to run everything on a combination of High and Very High settings. It's an amazing game, if your computer can handle it. The campaign alone is good enough to constitute a purchase. I haven't even tapped into the multiplayer yet because of the campaign. Once I have seen what the multiplayer has to offer, I'll work on the review.

Wow, I didn't even notice until now that I have been on Gamespot for a little over 2 years. Tis amazing how time flies. I can say that my two years on this site have been useful. Through Gamespot, I have improved my writing skills and met some great players and people. Now though, it seems as if my time on this site have become limited, due to my recent jobs and need to make preparations for graduation and college.

At the end of this school year, I will graduate. Funny, I made this account when I was a sophomore, and it doesn't seem like it has been this long. I will try to make the most out of this year, because I doubt that anything will be the same after it.

To come up with the funds I need for college, insurance, and other equipment costs, I've taken up two jobs. One of which is at Gamestop. I've made a schedule between the two, and hopefully it doesn't get too hectic. By the end of this year, I should have more than enough to pay for all expenses. One of the major pieces of equipment I will need is a computer capable of handling what I'm going into in college - which is programming and game development.

That being said, a computer is already on the way. I may be checking out many more PC games in the future. Here are the specs:

Nolan729 - Very cool, unbiased, and a great thinker. I was an officer in his Wii60 union a while back, and from what I could tell, he did a nice job running it. We keep contact and share opinions on the gaming industry. Good to know ya!

Krs_bg - I never get to talk to him anymore, but he is undoubtably the greatest follow-up leader I have ever seen. Originally an officer in the Imperial Gamers Union, I turned over leadership to him when I became unable to remain active. Now, the union went from 189 to 600+ members. He's done an amazing job and I thank him for his belief that my old union could become something great.

meesey01 - The most responsive and level headed leader I have served under. Whenever someone had a question, he'd respond immediately. He also recognized and thanked others for their contributions; large or small. He defined himself as a great leader by his ideas for the union and his overall kindness toward his recruits. A great honor to serve you.

Deepdreamer256 - I remember his quality articles for the Imperial Gamers Union; very high quality. He did his part to keep the union going, while most of my officers did little.

Bigshot305(aka Azia) - I never knew him too well til I got on Xbox Live with him. We've played a lot of Gears together and I recruited him for my clan. He's very level headed and generally respectful to those who do the same.

Well, yet another Xbox 360 has bitten the dust. My second one finally died after months of performance issues. At least I bought a two year warranty to cover a mess like this. Never before have I owned a console that was so unreliable. It's almost like Microsoft put the system out without even testing it first.

Putting the 360 aside, I got a copy of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption today. So far,Corruption definately proves Wii's capabilities as a FPS console and has been an exciting game so far. I'm only about two hours in, so I obviously have a long way to go. By the time I finish Metroid, it should be about time for Halo 3 to release. This is going to be an interesting four months.

It has been quite some time since I last created a blog on here. My school work has kept me occupied for the previous weeks. Now, school is out for summer and my activity will be back to normal. The only two things left to do are my Chemistry Exam on Thursday and the ACT on Saturday. After those, I'm done with anything school related for the rest of the summer. W00T!

With what little free time I have had, I wrote a review for The Godfather: Blackhand Edition. Not a bad game, but it could have been much more. Please take a look. Recommendations are always appreciated .

In terms of Gamespot unions, I'll be resigning from my position as Officer at The Observer. The former Imperial Gamers Union has grown to over 500 members, and has become quite successful. I'm glad to see that the union is doing so well under its new leadership and staff. The time I spent on the Imperial Gamers Union was not in vain, and its legacy continues under a new title. However, I have lost my passion for tending to the union and I don't want to join the rest of my former staff who don't do anything. It's about time I stepped down. Thanks Krs_bg for believing in the union's potential.

I purchased Sonic and the Secret Rings on Wednesday. From the amount of time I have played it, I can tell that Secret Rings is the best Sonic game to come out in years. Secret Rings, unlike others in the series, actually focuses on speed. For the first time in years, I get to see the out of control speed that had been missing since the days of the Dreamcast.

However, Secret Rings is not without flaws. Since Sonic runs on default, it can be hard getting him to stop or direct him backwards. I'll mention all the pros and cons once I get around to writing a review.

My review for Halo 2 has been completed. I have a feeling that there won't be too many recommendations on that one . Take a look if you have some time.

As for Gears of War, I have decided to keep it. Epic recently released another patch. What's the difference? They actually fixed something for a change. Most of the problems are eliminated, and the game is much better.

While Gears may be fixed, the 360 it is supposed to play on has encountered a series of performance issues. Games that never had framerate issues before are encountering major slow downs. I hope that I don't have to exchange this 360 for another, as I am already on my second one.
