It's story is disappointing but the game is fun to play because it has lots and lots of quests to do and the battle system is a bit faster than in the original WKC game and has some good new features such as turn break and using certain attacks on certain enemy body parts can instantly disable an enemy and the enemies are tougher this time so you'll need/want to take advantage of the turn break and instant disable techniques and you'll need to try to survive battles against numerous tough enemies for long enough to transform into the knight and you'll need to grind your way through areas. It's environments are detailed and some environments allow you to do quite a bit of exploration and it has large cities with lots of NPCs to interact with and quests to discover.

The visuals are beautiful too,I love how Farian culture is influenced by Japanese culture and it's a colorful and charming JRPG.

The main reason I've started playing WKC2 is my copy of To The Moon hasn't arrived yet but it should soon.

Speaking of another game Level 5 was involved with developing,Ni No Kuni(localized PS3 version)is due out in January and I can't wait.Right now I feel like playing a JRPG that's old school,charming,light-hearted and colorful, especially since The Last Story was very emotionally draining and story driven and I had to pay close attention to long story scenes and because Tales of Graces is charming but politically driven and I constantly had to pay attention to it's story. This is why I'm enjoying playing WKC2 at the moment.Earlier this year I played Dragon's Dogma and it's artstyle makes it's world feel bland for me personally although it has great gameplay and at the start of this year I beat FFXIII-2 and thought it was charming and has a heartfelt love story, emotional without being too emotionally draining and has an interesting story that's not too complex.I kinda got Sci Fied out after playing FFXIII and Star Ocean TLH(even though FFXIII-2 has Sci Fi I could handle it because the game has lots of charm and colorfulness).Demon's Souls is very dark and sadistic and Resonance of Fate's story is too religious for me.I've played Atelier Totori and it's charming but I hated having to manage my time and exploration to deal with the deadlines(with the Persona games it's not a big deal because it's easier to manage, but with Atelier Totori you have to time manage very carefully). So that's why I'm very excited about Ni No Kuni.I've read it has an easy platinum trophy too.

@ZanarkandTidus agreed, WKC 1 was better. matastig said I should play To The Moon, but I don't think my computer could run it very well.

I never could get into White Knight Chronicles 2. I loved the first one, I liked the Idea for the Incoruptus and how they were asleep for all those years.

@ZanarkandTidus Beyond Two Sols looks good and I keep hoping for a Type 0 release but i've given up hope for that.Toki To Towa looks very unique and interesting. it was in the top 10 games on Gamestop maybe it still is.

@MegandDia128  I'm interested in Beyond in the same way Heavy Rain interested me,because I love story-driven games.Right now I'm playing To The Moon which is a story-driven indie game that has a JRPG style presentation and I love it,it's story is very emotional.I enjoyed WKC2 but I feel as if I paid too much for it because it's story feels shallow to me.I liked the story for the first WKC because I like Cisna as a character WKC1's story focused more on her.

@MegandDia128 I know what you mean,I want to get Ni No Kuni,Lightning Returns,Fist of the North Star Ken's Rage 2,Beyond Two Souls,Tales of Xillia,Toki To Towa and this doesn't include other possible releases such as localized versions of FF Type 0 and Yakuza 5 but I need money for other important things.

WKC2 story wasn't that bad it just takes off slowly but surely gets better in the second half, it has some emotional moments that'll break your heart, and a bit of twist towards the ending.

Can't wait for Ni No Kuni myself, 2013 is gonna be a great year for gamers :)

@matastig  Honestly,I thought WKC2's story started off interesting but later it becomes a bit silly and cliche and even though it has emotional moments the story seems haphazard to me,but that's my opinion. But it's gameplay is very fun though.

I'm so excited about Ni No Kuni it will be my late Christmas present for myself :P
