    Gears are Turning

Well, I'm pretty hyped about Gears of War 2, and I know that game is going to be badass online as well as campaign. While I'm usually against overhyped games, there seems to be no way it won't deliver. I mean really, anyone who played the first one will buy the second without question and that Novermber release date is so close.....

Anyways here's a link to a scanned copy of the manual. Is it real? Is it fake? Does it matter?

    Some pretty cool stuff here...

    Chrome Anyone?

Seeing a link to Google Chrome, I followed wondering what it was leading to the discovery of a new browser! Yes, I'm a fan of new things, and with a slow computer I'm always looking for cool programs that won't hog up too much of my memory. So yeah this is to spread the word that the beta for Google Chrome is out there, and you should give it a try.

    Main Site

    Info (It's a google book!)

You can check out the history on the website, but a few features are:

    Enhanced Security

Less browser crashing (each tab runs independently using it's own resources)

Faster when running multiple tabs (same reason as above)

The same bar for searching and urls

A security option that allows you to navigate without the browser saving your passwords, history, cookies, etc.

So far I haven't tried it out too much, but it's looking pretty cool, and I hope it develops into a good browser one day. It's an open source project so you never know.

    Work in Progress

Well here I am getting a few things out of the way.

    1. New Blog Post - Yay, I'm slightly more active now.

    2. Finding out if my scanner works - Yes it does, but the software doesn't, so I had to play around with paint to get the image resized.

    3. Killing 1 and a half hours because I couldn't sleep - Yep, it's almost 5am and I decided to draw a little since I haven't done so all summer even though I told myself I would. Bear in mind, this is done with a regular, random pencil I found under my bed since I'm too lazy to buy my art supplies yet. Also, aside from the fact that I was never good at drawing, I haven't drawn anything since like the 8th grade.

But here it is, my attempt at the Hellsgate Bridge here in Astoria. Yes I'm aware that the thing in the middle is too skinny, but I hate drawing archs, and with my shaky hands I'm luck the lines didn't cross. As you can see it's still a work in progress, and I'm thinking of adding some destruction in the background to mix things up a little.

Any tips, suggestions, criticisms are appreciated.
