Mii and my Wii

After waiting for so long, I finally got my hand on a Wii. They are still very hard to find here in Montreal, Canada so I had to buy one on Ebay from someone in the US. I already knew I wanted a Wii a long time ago so I already had Wii Play (with the Wiimote included) and an extra Nunchuk so I can make my girlfriend and friends happy as well .

At first I wanted to buy 3 games with it. After reading alot of reviews, post, blogs and forums, I understood that there were only 2 games really worth buying at this point: Zelda and SPM. I knew I wanted these game for a long time but I wasn't sure if it was worth it to buy a third game at this point. Especially since alot of big titles are coming out soon. I made up my mind and finally purchased LOZ:TP, SPM, a Classic Controller and a 2000 Virtual Console points card. Like I said I already had Wii play and a Nunchuk. I tought LOZ:TP and SPM were the real must-have for a starter kit and with the Virtual Console i could download some wicked old-school games! I actually purchased Super Mario World and I am having a blast!

Well so far I am more than pleased with my Wii. I paid a little more because I bought it on Ebay but it is worth it for me. LOZ:TP and SPM are brilliant games and with Wii Sports (and some Wii Play games) it is amazingly fun to play in mutliplayer. I tought it would be harder to get used to the Wiimote and the Nunchuk but not at all! It took me not ever half an hour and I felt very comfortable with the remotes.

I am also having a blast using the internet on my Wii. The voting channel, weather channel, news channel... internet! It's just great! I didn't use the Mii channel much since I don't know anybody who has a Wii  ... I can't wait for online gaming!

Mii and my Wii are having so much fun together... I'll keep blogging about us.
