man.. im looking forward to christmas this year, well more like after christmas since there will be some good games coming out. IM espically looking forward to blue dragon and lost planet. i wouldn't even imagine how good these games can look on the new 32inch LCD tv i jsut got. lol 1080p would be wicked sick... anyways merry christmas to all ya fellow gamers!!

I recently jsut finished Halflife 2: Episode 1, and the question is, is this game really worth 20 bux. So this game takes place right after Half life 2 and to me, well your still left hanging on the story. I really dont know why valve is planning to do the next half life series in sections or should i say episodes. Its kinda lame because it feels like your just playing a demo, and you gotta wait again to find out what happens next. I think they should jsut quit the damn episodes and jsut make a full game.  Maybe its just me. Anyways so lets get on with the review of the game.

Graphics: Well i didn't see much improvment in graphics since half life 2. They said there was some new dynamic light graphics implanted in episode 1. Im running a nvidia 7800 GTX and really, i didnt see much dynamic lights maybe just a bunch of reflections. Overall though the animations are really smooth and sweet, since Alyx has some crazy moves during in game when shes by your side.

Controls: Well its your standard mouse and keyboard shooting conrol. Movement base are still the same, basically point, shoot, run. You can evade some bullets with the speed burst and hide behind most objects. The chance of you kiling the guy thats aiming for you is pretty low when your behind an object, theres really no strategy in this. So its pretty simple with the controls on the pc.

Story: Well we all know for sure, that the story had to be continued since this takes place right after half life 2. Basicallly your with Alyx and trying to escape city 17. This game is rather short sine valve is planning to make 3 episodes to rap it up. So your left hanging again to the conclusion of half life 2. But if ya never played half life 2 and your going straight into episode 1. DONT! you will ruin it for your self cause, well you dont have a damn clue what your doing, who your controlling, or who the heck is the chick. So i recommend you play half life 2 to get a feel of the story before moving onto episode 1.

Gameplay: Fun factor for this game, i would give it a 4 out of 5. You start off with 3 modes, easy, normal, and hard. Reason why i wouldn't give it a full 5, its too damn easy . Alyx has unlimited bullets and she never dies. So you basically jsut have to avoid everything and run around dodging while she caps everything for you. But over all its pretty fun game and if your a FPS fan, i recommend this game.

Well the guys out there or that attended E3 should know what im taklin
about. So you know even with games and nerds comes a little more
entertainment then usual "The Booth Babes". This years E3 Booth Babes
was quite amusing. Alot of them were pretty hot i gotta say and dress
code? what dress code?.



Since they imserted the new rule of booth babes dress code. I thought
which was pretty lame. Why, because models should be allowed to wear
what they want. Plus alot of their advertising actaully goes to the
booth babes more then the actual games and consoles. Imagine convention
center full of nerd gamers, MEN, adult nerds, and NERD SWEAT, and no
ladies whatsoever. Most guys would go insane, I for one would go insane
too.



So this years E3, even though the rule was in works. Alot of the booth
babes did show some skin which i thought was awsome. But not enough
LOL. I believe the hottest booth babes this year was the tecmo babes.
Short skirts, nice tops, gee i couldn't ask for more. But being hot
comes a price, there not very bright. I saw an interview at this years
E3 on the booth babes and it was hilariuos of what type of questions
they asked them. Would you date a gamer or what does the Wii do?. All
these simple questions and the best answer they gave was. "Come again".




But you know i wouldn't mind dating a booth babe, since they could get
you a chance into E3 and be proud that you actually are dating a booth
babe. Dont waste it.

So lets break it down to the last day of E3, im pretty sure alot of gamers and users out there that didn't get to attend E3 still had a blast watching the videos and articles written up by editors. I for one had a awsome week even thought i didn't get to attend E3, but chatting it up with a bunch of gamers and seeing what their reflections and impressions on most games was great.

Today was indeed the most hectic day for the Nintendo Wii line, because of the media, gamers, and other booth members that want to test this out. Im thinking the lines was probably 2 - 5 hours long, who knows maybe more. I for one would rather wait for the console to go gold and buy it at retail stores then to wait in a huge line for it. Alot of the games that were shown this year like the new Mario Galaxy, Metriod Prime 3: Corruption, Zelda TP, Red Steel...etc. was most pleasing. Graphics, movies, gameplay were all unique. I really do look forward to seeing these games coming to the Wii in the coming year.

Sonys booth was probably not as busy as Nintendo because not alot of games where playable but some were. For one reason, i think Sony showed off a bit too much of the Sony PS2 when there actually advertising for the PS3. As for the PSP, who knows whats going down the road for this handheld.
The PS3 booth had some good games that were announced, but not alot of game footage was shown. Games like Warhawk with the sensory motor gyro thing, will most likely end up being a complete failure or a unique game.that will suprise the audience. I for one will most likely not try it because it looks unconfortable waving the controller around and ending up twisting my wrist, but thats just me. Other games like Grand Turismo HD, MGS 4, Tekken 6 and other titles were only trailers, so we will have to see what they can look like for the coming year. But most exciting.

Now for Microsoft, we all know its the xbox 360 since it was revield at last years E3 2006. What really suprised me was how come J allard didn't show up with his other goons. Ah who cares, i still had a good time watching some of the games like Gears of Wars, Halo 3, Lost Planet.. etc. I think these games will be a kick ass title for the 360. I was hoping for Ninja Gaiden 2, but i think i was wishing a little too early.

It would've had been better if some of us could attend E3 since most of us will probably be buying these games.But in all its been a fun and awsome week of E3 this year. Since im from Canada, i hope one day or maybe next year that ill get to attend it. How about you guys, please do leave some thoughts and comments.

Well so its the 2nd day of E3 and i just finished watching most of the live shows gamespot has been covering for the online audience.They are doing such a great job at it.. its probably not a hard job since you jsut play some games and just write about it. But im sure it takes alot of time up and time sure moves fast when your in a convention center with full of insane people.

I have to say there is alot of crazy nintendo fans out there, espically the people that actaully step in the front door and RUN like a mad man to the WII station, which i think i wouldn't want to do. It is indeed the new Wii system but not worth a trip to the floor and eating shoes while thinking about it.. Most of the video blogs from Tim were great since he made some self tours with his camcorder around the booths. Another insane day at E3 with alot of hardcore gamers.

Many of the great games were introduced today and we got to see what the developers thought of there own game. I think Gears Of Wars will be an awsome title for the xbox 360, with compelling graphics and unique game play. What i thought was most interesting was the Real time weapon switch, which not alot of action shooter games have. so i look forward to that game. Well that ends 2nd day of E3 2006, so last day is tommorow and i have a feeling E3 is going to be packed jammed with gamers.

Well its that time again.. and E3 is about to start. Now i could just imagine all the crazy games, free things, the atmosphere, booth babes.... etc Anyways i hope to attend one of the E3s in my lifetime since i have always wanted to see and experience how a E3 is like.. Im a pretty hardcore gamer since i have collected every console thats out in the market right now and looking forward to the net gen consoles. Ive played quite a bit of differernt variaties of games including RPGs, Racing, Puzzle, Action.. etc Its a gamers dream to be at E3 since its a Gamers paradise.

I currently live in canada and we dont get much gaming companies or the industry to hold events like that. Its very hard to find a job in the gaming industry and ill probably have to head up to the states to find one.
