All I got to say right now, is why the hell is the Hobbit three movies, and when is Nintendo going get there act together and make a Zelda that can compete with TES and Dark Souls, becuase that series has so much potential.

Gamespot
Yup, Im a gamespot member. Quite a frequent one too, at that. I enjoy this website becuase it's informative of gaming and generally humorous. I write comments on articles and get the feedback from others. Usually, my comments are positive, something like "cool, i might buy this game." or " this is cool." Sometimes I write negative comments like " this game is clearly **** or " Ill never buy this unless it's the last game on earth." When I do this people usually comment back things like, " you dont know what your talking about " or "NOOB" or "you spelled 'mediocre' wrong, that makes you stupid." More or less. I can put up with petty insults or misplaced accusations becuase it's not that big of a deal, racism, hate, or preaching I would not accept though. Thankfully, these things hava been to a minimum.
These message and purpose of this poorly written rant is this: fellow Gamnespot members, when commenting on mine or any other's posts, stick to the point. I don't give a **** if you know more grammar and spelling than I, nor do I care if you can count the first 700 prime numbers backwards off by heart. This is a fuking gaming website, lets try and keep it that way.
Excuse my french... suckers.

The Legend Of Zelda...
Ahhh, The Legend Zelda, tthe most romantic video game to date. A true eipc fantasy, consisting of everythinga good story needs. Although, what has happened to that immersive world I knew as a kid?
Lets set a few things straight, the first Zelda game I played was Link's Adventure, and I never beat that one. The second, was A Link to the Past, which was great. The third, was Ocarina of Time, which, I feel, was not only a tasteful combination of the first two Zeldas games i had played, but is also the best Zelda game to date. It had a beautiful story line: ayoung boy is sent out to save world, and in turns discovers true exploration, danger, deciet, rebellion, alliances, love, fear, power and courage; all before being reverted back to his child form, and to, we were set to believe, live his days in peace. It had excellent art work, that really made the world a living place. (the games graphics were good for their time, but im refering to concept art) It had ancient powers, and destiny, true good, and the darkess evil; and above all, a moral- something that very few games have, because not many have a story that can compare to the Ocarina of Time.
Then there is Majoras Mask, Ocarina of Times sinister relative. It was a great game, had awsome side stories, and powerful story concepts that moved me.
Now though, the Zelda series has seemed to wither away, loosing focus of what it once was. A prime evil, a princess, and a boy fulfilling his destiny to save Hyrule. Hyrule. Hyrule. So, where is Hyrule? Why has Link, if he even is Link, wandered from his traditional journey? Twilight Princess, I never played that one, regretably. I cant be bothered to buy a Wii for one game.
What is it that I want to see happen with the Zelda series? A new game obviously, one, like Ocarina of Time, whichwill revolutionize the series. Yet, in a powerful and tasteful way, be composed of its predecessors. To use the the same tools, make reference to old stories, contain characters of old, and a struggle for power fit for a true fairytale. Zelda needs to go back to Hyrule, (though skyward sword is, I dont agree with whats going on) it needs to sit itself on the ground, and fight its way through dungeon afer dungeon, so that it can save the princess, and secure the triforce from Ganondorf, and evil.
I want to see a new game that has concept art that moves me, and makes me question and wonder about the characters intmate history, and role within the story. I want to see weapons that make me feel drawn into the strange world that Hyrule is, so similar to my own, yet distant in an imaginative way. I want puzzles that baffle, side quests that cant be beat, and a main character who is destined to be the worlds hero. Mr. Hero. Who, initailly, may not entirely fill that role, but in time, will become exactly what the title entails.
I feel recent Zelda games have not been worthy of the title Legend, but ratherjust antother video game. Im calling outNintendo's writers, graphic designers, programmers, and whoever else is involved, to create a legend, that will have me remember, and know, what the best game of all time is.
Aye, how would be, to change the flow of time...
