    Familiar Story

Sony released a statement commenting on the PS3 (http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/05/24/news_6126423.html). I do not want to sound like I am bashing Sony but did'nt we here this story with the PS2, or something to that effect. Mr. Kutaragi mentioned that the PS1 and PS2 was just leading up to the capabilities to the PS3. Why can't you just admit you made a mistake with the PS2. Yes the console was succesful, but it did not live up to it's promise of "home entertainment". I am pretty sure I heard stories of them commenting on how the PS2 was going to be able to do all this "entertainment" business. The hard drive was suppose to expose us to the "entertainment" capabilities that Ken Kutaragi is talking about but if you are like me and rushed to get the hard drive with no interest of Final Fantasy, you lost out big time. It was a $100 wasted, think about it, that is two games, maybe more if you buy them used or on sale.

Sony, just admit that a mistake was made when it came to the PS2 and it's capabilities.

    Help me

    I cannot stop shopping for video games, really. I think I may have a problem, a big one. Here is a list of games I have gotten in the last two weeks;

    XBOX
    Serious Sam
    ESPN 2K5 NBA
    Breakdown
    Metal Gear Solid: Substance
    SVC Chaos: Capcom vs SNK
    Fight Club

    DS
    Tiger Woods PGA Tour '05
    Pac Pix

    PSP
    NBA
    Scan Disk 256MB Pro Duo

there is about two more games that I purchased both for the Game Cube, but cannot remember what they are right now. I am not happy with myself but what can I do, I cannot help it. I am a shopperholic.

I wonder if there is anyone else with this problem.

    Back

After being away from this site, I realized how important this site is to me. Since I have not been playing alot of games lately and paying more attention to the the news story on video games, this site has it all. I have decided to participate a more since I am paying the annual fee <why waste money>.

Yesterday I picked up a couple of games; NBA (PSP), Pac Pix (DS), and MGS 2 (XBOX). The NBA I picked up so I can try out the online community for the PSP. I am not much of a sports person but have been itching to give it a try. Last week I also picked up ESPN basketball which I already own, but got a copy for my nephew. That way we can both play and he can teach me a few things. This is one of the reasons I got him a XBOX Live account.

Pac Pix I got because I love Yoshi's Touch & Go. I read somewhere that it was similar, that you do not control the character just where they go. I have to say that I do like this game, I have not gotten to far but it is good. You have you get use to drawing Pac Man, it could get repeptitive but it makes good use of the stylus for the DS. I got up to the first boss, which I have to figure out how to beat. HELP!

MSG 2! People are going to shoot me when I say this but I have never played a Metal Gear Solid game in my life. Why? I cannot answer that. I was told that I am missing out on a good game so I picked it up used. It was only $10, so if I do not like it, I did not really lose anything but 2 happy meals <laughing>.
