  Leavin' for Alex!

  
  After a few minutes from now, I'll go catch the bus that will drive us to Alex. It is my first conference with the Church, and I hope it ends up well. Fady, Michael and Abanob will be there, so I won't have to worry about that. So, I guess I'll leave Gamespot for about four days or so, but I'll surely go on posting when I return...

  Promotions

  
  Well, after a little less than a year on Gamespot, I'm glad to say that I got two promotions in less than 30 days! The first one was at the Knights of Gondor Union, where I, thanks to God, could do a lot to keep my Union alive. I kept on posting in old topics while nobody did, I tried making new ones (that wasn't very successful though,) I invited new members from other unions, but the greater credit's to Wren's Union, the original Lord of the Rings Union. There I knighted many new members, and I somehow managed to "advertise" for KoG, and that was quite successful; now there're more than ten new topics in KoG - though some of them are exact copies from the other Union - and the past "dead" recruits have some way came back to life and are once again active. The only thorn in my side is that the Leader of KoG hasn't visited the Union for more than a month now, and that the so-called "Officers" - and it really hurts me to say that - seldom post anything. But the new blood that's pumped into KoG really makes me proud of what I did...
  
  The second promotion, which came to me as quite a surprise really, was the one at the other Union, the original LOTR Union. I've been quite active there for 3 weeks or so, but I never expected to become an officer myself. Who would have thought that I become of the same level as Mandalore (he's formidable!) or that other KnowledgeWizard (I like his sense of humour greatly!)? Nonetheless, I'm really doing my best to deserve this gift that Wren has bestowed on me...
  
  The next step would be, I think, forming a union of my own! Gotcha all, I was just kidding! The real next step would be keeping my rank on both Unions (I'm trying to get them affiliated, but that needs dwdrums) and improving KoG more and more (only today, I invited more than 10 people to it!) And there's that other thing, the B4G game. I'll see if I can get it alive no matter what...

  Gamespot Levels?

  I can see now that a user hit level 27, while I'm still on 5. So, how can be higher levels more useful? And more importantly, how to gain higher levels? Please, gamers, I need your help!
