  Happy Mother's Day 2013!

  Boy, what a beautiful Mother's Day that was. For dinner my whole family and I went to Sofia's Italian Restaurant. Parking there wasn't easy, because nearly all parking spaces were occupied. The rest of my family found a good parking space, but my mother and I had to park outside of the store near the restaurant so that we had to cross the street and go there. One of the members of my family was Uncle Lenny. He's the guy who got released from jail after some good behavior and serving time there for a year (he had been there for fighting in a bar before). Anyway, we had a great dinner at the restaurant. So fun.

  Happy Easter 2013!

  Have a very happy Easter, everyone! As far as I know, two weeks ago was St. Patrick's Day, and we were lucky to wear green and celebrate. BTW, Pope Benedict XVI resigned a month ago, and 13 days later, a new pope was elected! Say hello to Pope Francis I!
  
  Today, my family and I are making Easter dinner. I have my relatives, including my little nieces, getting prepared for the festive celebration of new life. Here's hoping I wish all of you a Happy Easter!

  Happy Valentine's Day 2013!

  Hello, everyone. Guess what? Today is Valentine's Day, and also my uncle Dave's 50th birthday! Sweet!
  
  Anyway, I have some news. Nearly last week, my brother Paul left for Hawaii for his next job, and I said goodbye to him the night before. But it was a good thing that my parents drove him to Bradley International Airport earlier, because when they got back, it was snowing, and the Winter Storm Nemo had turned into a blizzard for a whole day! Through the night our light bulbs were flickering, and I was afraid we would lose power. It turns out we didn't lose it the next morning, and we saw nearly three feet of snow! Holy moley! We had to shovel the snow for two days, and I hurt my elbow and my wrist in the process of shoveling. We had to clear the rest of the snow the next morning. BTW, businesses were closed for a few days while the snow from Nemo was getting cleared. Hope you and everyone caught in the blizzard are safe.
  
  BTW, four days ago was the Chinese New Year of the Snake, which was my dad's year, and two days ago was the feast of Mardi Gras. I wore Mardi Gras beads to celebrate the day. Anyway, hope you all have a happy Valentine's Day, and stay safe!
