  Avatar Change

  I started to get a little sick of the ol' Link avatar (probably because a lot of others had it too), so I've gone for a new one, Big Boss from MGS3. That's all I really had to say, so I guess I'll end this blog early

  PS3 HDD drive wiped

  Yup, my PS3's hard drive had some corrupted data on it, and in order to start the system properly (ie. to be able to play games), my hard drive had to be wiped. Yipee. About 5 months of gaming, and trophies, gone. Well I guess on the plus side, I get the incentive to go back to MGS4 and get some of the more prestigious emblems, and my PSN account and the Firmware 2.42 remain, which is good. Sorry guys, had to rant about this somewhere

  First Trophy!

  I got my first trophy just the other day, I was so proud

  5 headshots in a row on Uncharted, Bronze... I'm surprised I managed to restrain myself from taking a picture and framing it

  It's not as refined as the Achievements system, mainly due to lack of support at the moment, but it definitely shows promise, and the bronze, silver, gold and platinum thing is a nice touch. I like the way it pops up in the corner congratulating you, although this can be VERY distracting if you're in the middle of an action sequence. Overall though, i'm happy
