im level 22 already,it seemed to just fly by after the nightmare of level 20,

not that im complaining, its all good.

Anyway time to get to the point,finally it seems that the PS3 is coming to the party,

with the console finally launching in the remaining territories,and dont worry im still with the 360,

but healthy competition never hurt anyone and it gets lonely at the top as well,

and not to be outdone MS upped the stakes with its newly announced XBOX 360 Elite,personally speaking im impressed by it other than the obvious disappointment that its missing HD-DVD,but it still good enough for me and has made me reconsider getting a 360 next month,now im gonna wait till the ELITE is out in India.

About the WII, im not that excited about it as i think its just riding on some hype and will soon fall flat as soon as the BIG TWO start firing on all cylinders,its just a matter of time.

P.S.-Its really hot in MUMBAI anyway so the topic is sorta taking into account the climate as well

You might be wondering what TORTURE i have been through in the past 3 months,
but im aware a few of you have been through it yourself.
If you guys still havent picked up what im talking about then,
its the LEVEL 20 "BUG" im talking about,
ive been waiting ages for level 21 and its finally here,
although it hasnt sunk in yet
but im glad its over.

what were they thing??

Yeah i know this is a rarity
but i felt keeping the world cup one was a little too much laziness
so i thought id spare everyone
and now comes the part about the current theme of this blog
I think it would be fair enough to discuss the launch mania here
Im seriously disappointed in the WII i was expecting bigger things
apart from a few games nothing did too well
im especially disappointed with Red Steel
Now coming around to the other launch of the PS3
this wasnt too disappointing with titles like Resistence Fall of Man and Ridge Racer 7 being the best and to an extent even Call of Duty 3 was a good game if you can get past the dodgy frame rates

Now comes the time everyone was waiting for,the knock-out stages.
there have been a few upsets in the group stages
the biggest being the one of the Czech Republic also we cannot forget the Koreans being knocked out by the Swiss.
But now is the time for everyone to show who are the true contenders and who the pretenders are.
Lets hope we a see a few more upsets.
Anything can Happen

As the world cup is gonna kick off today in Germany,
everything else can take a back seat(life,marriage,and even games)
this probably could be one of the greatest world cups ever.
Obviously Brazil are the favourites again but when are they not favourites to win
the
team that im rooting this Cup is England many people might think of
them as under-achievers but i think this time its different
the main reason for this is that all the main squad players are fully fit(exception Rooney)
and they have alot of players in their prime right now like Lampard,Gerrard,Cole,Terry,Beckham and the rest.
One of the other reasons behind me believing in England this time is that they have a good keeper this time in Robinson.
Enough of England now,apart from them i really fancy Netherlands and Czech Republic.
And
of the big teams that i think are gonna screw up are Italy(Match-fixing
Scandal),Germany(Spent force),Argentina(No Maradonna) and
Spain(Champion Under-Achievers)
Apart from that the teams that i think which are gonna be able to spring a few surprises are Australia,Serbia and Poland
Anyway enough of my predictions lets just hope it proves to be a cracker that everyone thinks its gonna be.
