Posted my review on Dishonored (PS3) last night so feel free to have a read of it- http://uk.gamespot.com/dishonored/user-reviews/806900/platform/ps3/

It feels like January has gone too quick I'd rather not think about because I've got a cosplay to work on and has to be done by March for SUNNYCON (March 23-24) feels like I don't have much time left but it will be done by February, you will be surprised on what I'll be doing by the time it gets closer and closer towards March. But anyways back to my first monthly blog for 2013-

GAME OF THE MONTH-

Persona 4 The Golden (PS Vita)

Why am I not surprised that Persona 4 would be on my list on my first monthly blog, I've spent an awful lot of hours before Christmas and New Year and yet I still find myself playing Persona 4 The Golden on my PS Vita. Yes it might be a little simular to the Playstation 2 version, but Golden has a ton of new features and content added in for the handheld, you could say that it feels more like a directors cut of the game. I have been taking my Vita when I've been out and about with my friends but this is pretty much the reason why you would want to buy a Vita in the first place.

ANIME OF THE MONTH-

HorribleSubs-Mondaijitachi-ga-Isekai-Kar

Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara kuru sou desu yo

Watched an Anime series called Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara kuru sou desu yo which was recommended from one of friends, watched the first episode a while back and I totally loved. Main plot is where Izayoi Sakamaki, Asuka Kudou, and You Kasugabe have tremendous psychic powers and are bored with the regular world. An envelope arrives for each person, and when each opens their envelope, they are stunned to see the scenery around them change to a world they had never encountered before. They've been summoned by the Black Rabbit to help the community "No Name" to overthrow the Devil King.

BOOK OF THE MONTH-

BAKUMAN Volume 17-

Picks up after Volume 15 and 16 took off where everyone is trying to beat Eiji on becoming number 1 in Weekly Shonen Jump and Eiji has a been working on his new Manga which he thinks will be a huge success for the world and both Akito and Moritaka create their own new manga as well while keeping PCP on top at the same time.

MOVIE OF THE MONTH-

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Saw The Hobbit on the first week of 2013, I've have read the book multiple times before the film was released and I would say that The Hobbit is a lot simpler and easier to follow on its story plot, with The Hobbit being directed by Peter Jackson it has been split in to 3 parts but it's also nice to feel welcomed back to Middle-Earth if you've either read the books, watched the movies or even played the games.

I will admit that they've actually got the right actors for The Hobbit for its characters like Tom, Bert and William the Stone Trolls with a cockney accent, and the Great Goblin does a great role too and of course most actors that were in the Lord of the Rings series make a return welcome too like Christopher Lee, Andy Serkis, Elijah Wood, Ian Holm and Hugo Weaving. I've actully laughed at quite a few moments my main favourite parts were Roast Mutton and Riddles in the Dark which were both well played and fairly well done for it from being from the book and onto the big screen. I look forward to the 2nd part of The Hobbit when it's released sometime by next Christmas where the other half of the film will be most likely everyone's favourite part where Bilbo encounters Smaug in the heard of the dwarf kingdom.

Hope you've enjoyed my monthly blog

I just hope Andy Serkis gets the chance to strut his stuff and win something, it is long overdue!
