With today being Valentines Days, Nintendo had another direct broadcast but this time for the 3DS. Watched most of the footage online and on my 3DS through the eShop, at first I actully thought they were going announce more new iformation on the next Professor Layton game or at least an English release for Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright-
But I was wrong on that one
and disappointed they mentioned nothing about it.
Mr Iwata welcomed the presentation and mentioned about the next line-up for Mario games, but you could say that it could be the Year of Luigi for the gaming front from Nintendo
There was more information on Luigi's Mansion 2, New Super Luigi U (WiiU), a new Mario game called Mario Golf World Tour, Mario and Donkey for eShop and of course another Mario and Luigi RPG game for the 3DS for Summer called Dream Team. I've still need to pick up Bower's Inside (DS) I have been a fan of the RPG series for SuperStar Saga and Partners in Time, hope they keep the Gif Sprite animation for the 3DS version.
There was more information about Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for both WiiU and 3DS, Capcom's Ryozo Tsujimoto talked more about its gameplay and new features added and multiple ways in Monster Hunter. Which also reminds that I need to pre-order this game as soon as I can
Since I'm in love with the series and spent over 50 hours on the PSP version for Freedom Unite (PSP)
More DLC content on the way for Fire Emblem Awakening for the US, and a release date for the UK/Euro release which will be April 19th. I've never played the series but heard the series is surpose to be really good so I might consider picking up this version at one point. More info was mentioned about Project X Zone which will be getting a release date for both US and UK/Europe by Summer 2013 between June-August.
Katsuya Eguchi delivers a special messege for Animal Crossing fans and a release date June 9th (US Release) and June 14th (UK/Euro) there was also gameplay footage on many possibilities that await you in New Leaf and become Mayor of your own little town and is still growing strong in Japan for the 3DS and how many people were playing it. You could tell that fans and Nintendo fans will enjoy New Leaf when it comes to visiting other towns and multiplayer.
Last but not least-
Was released for the Nintendo Wii back in 2010 and is now makeing its way to the 3DS this Summer, the 3DS might have had a slow start to begin but over the last 2 years now it already has a good line-up on games from Mario Kart 7, Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop and of course Professor Layton. What will be next for the 3DS on games?
