I'm a student in communication and a gamer since I got a Sega Genesis. I'm a real geek: movies, TVseries, and video games, are my passions. I'm more a console gamer (especially on PS3, sometimes on 360), so if you want to play games with me, just send me an invitation and write that you're from Gamespot ![]()
Btw, my first langage is French ![]()

Jesse and James of Team Rocket from Pokemon Yellow! No matter how bad we beat them all the time, they always come back for more! Also, it's a great cue in the game because it indicates if you're strong enough to continue your quest.

Navi the feary in Zelda: Ocarina of Time... The amount of time I've heard "Hey!" and "Listen" with this high tone equals the amount of time I'd shout: "SHUT THE F*** UP!" Furthermore, it's like an overview of the first ten years (or so) of being a father... Best pratice ever: Now I know that I won't howl after my kids later.
Other Choice: Toad (Super Mario Bros.)

I really love Roxas from the Kingdom Hearts series (Kingdom Hearts 2 and Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 days). Why? Kind, fun, smiley, cool hair. But one of the thing that I really love from this unique character is that he's after all the Nobody of the main Protagonist of the game: Sora (Sorry for the spoiler for the one who didn't know) What thinks me that I'm like him is that he feels lonely when there's always friends around him.

Vic Vance, the main character from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, is the child every mom wants: he's respectful, he's kind and he takes care of his family (even if they don't deserve it). Unfortunately, he went wrong when he got kick-out of the army by obeying orders. Afterwards, he drug-traffics, he races, he kills, etc. He does all of this alongside with his brother Lance. Too bad Vic got kill because of him...
Other choice: John Marston (Red Dead Redemption)

If my memory is correct, I was a 4-year-old boy when I played my very first game ever: Sonic The Hedgehog. This simple concept on the Sega never gets old, and even after more than 15 years I can remember all the sound effects of this fabulous game. Too bad my console broke...

I was doing my homeworks when I looked at the corner of my room: a black bag with my Wii inside which was picking dust for almost 4 months."What gives to keep it?", I've told myself. "Almost all the Wii gamesare boring..."After my homeworks, I've started a new game of MGS3 and I was only thinking about the fourth on the PS3... only thinking of Sony's console made me think of LBP, Uncharted, God of War... It's at this moment that I've decided to sell my Wii. Whatever the cost, it'll be fine; I'll pay the difference to have it.
A couple of days ago, I've called Gamestop to know all the details about my sales and my future buying: It wasn't a big deal, but It was enough to get rid of it. When I've went to the branch, I was in a big promotion: In short, they gave more credits for all your stocks if you buy another console with it. I almost fainted when they've told me the price of a new PS3 Slim 120Go: 45$!!! Can you imagine? Even the seller laughed:" It'll cost you more if you want a game!!!" Now with MGS4 in my hands, I finally paid and said HELL YEAH!!! when we exit the store.
It's time for PlaystationNetwork to fear Bobbyjoe321!!!

PS: Do you have any suggestion for games too?

In my school, there was a Guitar Hero tournament. A lot of people participated (but not me, even if I'm a GH fan...). I saw the contenders, they play Hard/Expert level, they knew exactly what to do, they brang their own Plastic Guitar and they were proud of it. I play these "gigs" on my real guitar and they said something like:«The real guitar sucks.»
WHAT THE HELL??? You're better than me if you play Disturbed's «Stricken» on Expert on a piece of plastic with 5 colored buttons, when me I make my own solo of the same song on my Epiphone's LesPaul? If they weren't there, you couldn't play them on your freaking game!!!
What will happen next? Worldwide Tournament to know who is after all The Guitar Hero? A video on Youtube who explain how to play the game? I won't be surprise if it already exist.
I didn't write this blog to bring down the game. In fact, I think Guitar Hero is an original entertaining game that I love to play with my family and my friends.I wrote it because I think there's a lot of people who has no life: They bought an advance version of the guitar; They don't like the real guitar (They surely didn't scratch a string yet); they are proud to have spend several hours to beat another person.
I'm asking you (cause I don't know if I'm old school or something): Is Guitar Hero better than the real guitar? I want your opinions!

Which one do you prefer the most:
Tekken or Street Fighter? Or maybe another fighting game (Like DOA, MK or SNK)?
I think those two have a rivalry to shut down each other. I grew up with the Iron Fist Tournment's storyline with Jin Kazama, Heiachi Mishima, the Williams's sisters, Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law, King, Eddy Gordo, etc. For SF, I only know Ryu, Ken, The big Russian, The Sumo and the Green monster with orange hair... nothing about the storyline or any combos...
So you already know that I am sold to one franchise... but you? Why do you prefer one to the other? I want your opinions!!! I'm curious to find out your answers.

Since I had my 360, I wanted it Live. And now, with my new wireless rooter, I can now do what I wanted since 2007!!!
I must admit that I'm more on Halo 3 these times to initiate myself to the Online (and to kick some asses too
), but soon enough, more of them will enter in my collection (Like «The Orange Box» or «COD4») to enjoy this worldwide experience. If you saw me, don't hesitate to come and play. Hope to see you all online (...to kick your asses, of course...
)!!!Xbox Live, FEAR THE WRATH OF Bobbyjoe321!!!
(What a killer name, huh?)

If you are a gamer like me, you have probably some expectation about an incoming game.
Do you remember when we were young, gamer-in-progress? When we were just enjoying our games without taking all the glitches, the bad story, the bad acting voices and the ugly graphics in consideration when we said: «I love this game»?
For example, One of my favorite game was Star Wars: The Phantom Menace on PS One (I know, I'm in the «PS One» generation... I'm still a young gamer) . Now, I played it and found out that, in fact, it sucks.
So I'm asking you: Is this right for expecting too much for good games? I want your opinion.

Stories are a great way to make us live an adventure. Story-tellers and books are good ways to hear a good adventure. Since theater exist, the movies make us feel more intense emotion for an epic quest or a romance. Imagination of a person are the source of great stories.
Now, a new way to tell these original ideas exist: video games. Actually, we don't really read an adventure: We live'em! When we just saw a movie and wanted to go deeper in, we bought or rent the game with another story for more exclusive adventure with our favorite hero.
Even if imagination is limitless, Hollywood begins to create a syndrome of ''déjà vu'' and makes poor movies. To resolve the problem, Hollywood says: «If they make video games based on movies, why won't we make movies based on video games?» They already brought Tomb Raider, Doom, Hitman, Mario, Mortal Kombat, DOA and more!!! Soon enough, they will bring Tekken, Halo and Max Payne alive!!!
As soon as their movies are good, I've no problem, but one question is still in my head: Is Hollywood losing ideas? I want your opinions.
