I for one do. There really hasn't been much change in gameplay over the years. Sure they have the addition of new Pokemon and new animations, but the storylines remain constant. Yet, something about those games still draws me in. I've played almost all of them since they were first released back in 98. Yes, it really was that long ago. I was drawn more into console gaming the last year or so and never really explored Black or White, the first 5th generation games. While I was at Gamestop the other day, they had a used Black 2 sitting there for about $25. I figured what the hell, might as well pick it up right? Haven't put it down.

I'm not into hardcore EV training or using several of the different methods to find shinys or anything like that (though who doesn't like shinies?!). I enjoy the gameplay, catching as many as I can, training, etc. Seems they made Black 2 extremly easy to replay, with many side missions and battles to be had after the champion is defeated. Nice additions with the Dream World, and I'm glad you don't have to carry anything around with you like the little Pokewalker thingy.

Obviously my Pokemon game playing back when I was 13 wasn't a big deal. Well how about now when I'm 27? Surprisingly, there's still quite a few people out there that I've run into that still play them. Not many of my real-world friends are gamers, so when I heard that plenty of them enjoy these games I was shocked. Kinda made me feel better about the fact that I still like them.

So, any of you still play them? If so, I'm always looking for trading partners to complete the pokedex and help me evolve those Pokemon that need it. Feel free to PM me your friend code.

P.S. Yes, this is my first blog in almost a year. Sue me

I was playing diamond on emulator not too long ago. I have to say, that franchise has like the best formula ever. They don't need to change the formula.

I went through Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, LeafGreen and SoulSilver and recently, White.  I imported all my pokes from the gba games to White so I have a bunch of boxes full of pokes.  Sadly I havent played anything super recent, but I wouldnt mind trying black or white 2 at some point.

@Allicrombie I only have 1 DS so I can't really migrate too much over.  I assume you had a second one to be able to get everything over?

I have a gba emulator on my Andriod so yes. A lot of my friends with iphones or andriods play the gba ones.

@RangerFirePower I would like an iOS game.  That would be sweet on the iPad, but I doubt that'll happen!

I never got into the whole Pokemon thing, I didn't enjoy watching it so I doubt I would enjoy playing them, although I also have a game that I was into that I was almost ashamed to admit I was playing, Animal Crossing City Folk for the Wii.

Haven't played it forever. :P I still have a spot for Pokemon Stadium 2.

Hitting post comment someone took me to the homepage, let's see if it works this time.

I loved Red/Blue/Yellow and Silver/Gold but stopped playing after that. I bought Black and tried to play it but couldn't get into it.

@Legolas_Katarn I didn't think I'd like it honestly as I wasn't too much into the new Pokemon, but it grew on me pretty fast...
