Hmm... cfamgcn's lair? old-school gamer? lol

Hello and welcome to my blog... I'm changing the "welcoming" yet again, at the end of my first semester at the music institute!

I'm still looking for people who want to help me out with my videogames/anime site (Spanish). Just PM me for details...

Well, I don't have much to say lol... just read my blog and comment if you will. Thank you!

For those of you who want to visit my site, this is the url: http://www.3f-team.net
So today is my birthday =O...

Yeah...

Today I'm turning 19!

Wow... I feel so old

Time sure flies

Hmm... at least I learned Giniro, Bratja and Unmei no Yoru when I was still 18 (refer to last blog post)...

*sigh*

Well... I got lots of gifs, so I'm happy

Looking for suggestions to play (piano songs)... picked up FF VIII again

Konbanwa!

What can I say... I've been pretty busy and haven't been online much...

But I have a reason for it! (hey, why did I just type that?)

I'm pretty much satisfied with my advance on this last month, given that my piano teacher gave me homework even for vacations... but I didn't want to just learn classic stuff, so I already covered all my homework and looked up some anime piano songs to practice this month (classes at the music institute resume on August 11) =D:

- Bratja from Fullmetal Alchemist - 80% through
- Enishi from Air TV - LEARNED
- Epilogue from Fruits Basket - haven't started yet
- Giniro from Air TV - 70% through
- Hakai he no Jokyoku from School Days - LEARNED
-
True Light (Piano Version) from D.N. Angel - 50% through (this one is kind of hard)
- Unmei no Yoru (Piano Version) from Fate/stay night - 30% through (just began to learn it)

If any of you guys have any suggestions of songs I could learn, please do comment =D

In other news, I picked up Final Fantasy VIII, and I'm on the third disc, just before going to the final thing... but before that I must do some side-quests

That's it for today

I'm level 26! And I finally got Yoshi's Island for SNES!

Yup! I finally got promoted to level 26, "Cyber-Lip"

I almost didn't believe it, but I found after looking Yoshi's Island (SNES) after looking for it for a long time... and it was in a thrift store at $3.99... so, yeah, I did pick it up, after all I haven't played it since I borrowed it from a friend some years ago...

The controls blew me away! After playing Yoshi's Story for N64 for some time, the incredible (yet simple) controls of Yoshi's Island are really the best. And so are the graphics, although I expected it because they did use the chip Super FX2 for this game

Gotta go now, I have some piano practice to do...

I'm really happy today =D

Hi guys...

For some strange reason, I'm pretty happy today... Well, there ARE a couple of reasons XD

First, yesterday I played on piano Suteki da ne (from Final Fantasy X) in the music recital of my institute. I did make a couple of mistakes during the playing, but they weren't that bad, so everybody was like "I liked your playing" and stuff like that after the program. A couple of my teachers told me that I'm the student with more improvement during this semester, so I couldn't be happier. My piano teacher gave me like 13 piano pieces to practice during vacation time (yeah, this semester's over)..

I didn't want to believe it at first, but I actually got my FREE games from Rewards1... Bleach: Blade of Fate (DS) and Lady Sia (GBA) came yesterday in the mail, so I was kinda shocked it worked! Well... it did take some time to get the points and stuff, but anyways, I'm enjoying those games

NOW FOR THE ANIME PART

I already got these anime series to watch during vacation:

- Black Cat
- Bleach (decided to watch it since I got the game )
- Darker than black
- Hayate no Gotoku
- Ichigo 100%
- Midori no hibi
- Ninja Scroll
- Ouran High School
- Prince of Tennis
- Saikano
- Serial Experiments Lain
- Slam Dunk (yes, I know, but I haven't watched it yet )
- Spice and wolf
- Vampire Knight (ongoing series)

Watching right now:

- Azumanga Daioh
- Naruto Shippuden (it is really sloooooooooooooow)
- Shakugan no Shana

Finished watching (recent, not counting old ones):

- Air TV
- Claymore
- Death Note
- D.N. Angel
- Fate/stay night (awesome!)
- Kanon
- Rosario to Vampire
- School Days
- School Rumble 1+2
- The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

Dropped:

- Blood + (didn't really get my attention)
- Green Green (tries too hard to be funny, and it isn't)
- Lucky Star (funny sometimes, but it is too much reading)

Do you recommend any other series?

Well... this week I'll be going back to Florida, so I won't be as active as I am now, but oh, well... I'll be practicing a lot of piano/guitar =D

I'm back! (for a little while anyway)

Yes, I'm back!

I haven't been active at GS for quite some time, but since I have some free time these days (next week are the final exams, so I'm not really worried), here are a couple of quick news XD:

- I'm level 25 and reached 2000 posts!

- Anime I'm watching right now: Shakugan no shana (really, really good)

- I'm getting TWO free games: Lady Sia for GBA and Bleach: the blade of fate (DS)... from this site: link

- I'm saving some money to buy a MXR delay pedal for my electric guitar

- My MSN messenger contact list has more than 460 people! (yay?)

- I have some homework I should be doing right now... so... what exactly am I doing here? XD

It's nice to be back!

What did I get?

Yes, Christmas came! And I got:

- The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction (GC) - Surprisingly good!
- Eternal Darkness (GC) - I'm not that impressed, but I'm only in the second chapter, so...
- Cocoto Kart Racing (DS)- What a shameless rip-off of Mario Kart DS! Bad!

I also got a lot of cash (can't tell how much lol)... well, that's it!
