  Fan Boys Schmam Boys!

  Oh how many times i have heard the argument! You know the one! The battle that has been waged since the days of the Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis. This console is better! No, this console is better! What shames me is that i used to be one of these 'fan boys'. I have to agree, however, that there are superior console..... in a sense. Take the playstation 3 for example: a power house with a ton of extras built in. The 360 right under it with noticably less features. So here is my point: Why would i buy one cosole because it has a fancy dvd player or a shiny online service but it doesn't have the games i want to play? Does a console make the games? No, they don't.

  Buying a console is of personal choice. The Wii has mario. The 360 has Halo. The ps3 has Metal Gear. Buy a console for its games and your own personal preference of what you like to play. Shut your mouth about which one is better and start arguing over which game is better if you have to argue about something! Or you could be one of the rare ones, like myself, who enjoy every console and their games and features they have to offer, for what they are!

  SO SHUT UP AND SPREAD THE LOVE INSTEAD OF STARTING ARGUMENTS ONLY IDIOTS WOULD START!

  A few games that are a bit unheard of but are amazing to say the least!

  Here is a few titles that i hold close but is surprising to me how so few people have actually played let alone heard of them.

  Omikron: the Nomad Soul: David Cage is a genious story teller and this title does an excellent job of making you feel as if you are an actual part of this cyber punk action thriller. The game is long and has many twists and turns. It is ingenuitive in which it uses many formulas from other genres to make it what it is. It blends a traditional 3rd person adventure game with fps shooting and mortal kombat fighting with a sprinkle of lite role playing elements. Even with its many flaws this game captured me and still holds its place as one of the most captivating games i have ever played.

  Second Sight : Story is one of my favorite parts to a game. If a story is amazing and the actual gameplay sucks then i can normally look over the downfall of the game. Second Sight's story is amazing! But by no means is its gameplay bad either. Enter a world where you play someone who suddenly awakens in a hospital all bandaged and discovers he has extroidanary mental powers to boot. You are quickly thrust into a world of action and the supernatural as you search to uncover what happened to you. Throughout the game you have 'flashbacks' in which you see things prior to what is happening in the present. But as you play these segments you seem to be able to change what happened in the past through your visions! The game still holds the greatest twist to any game in my eyes and is something i can experience over and over! If you haven't expereinced it... you should!

  Indigo Prophecy: As i have said before: David Cage is amazing! This title is a little more popular but still qualifies, at least in my book, as 'unheard of'. This is one of the most unique games more impart becaue it really isn't a game when you think about it. It's a movie. One which you controll by timed button presses and responses. This 'movie' has multiple endings and is a masterpiece of superb story telling. Don't go in expecting a shooting or fist flying expereince....go in expecting the true art of making a game: Story!
