I am a fan of Mario mostly but I also like Sonic alot and I like Zelda games as well and Resident Evil 4 and I am a fan of Mario Kart,Street Fighter and Super Smash Bros and Metroid.

  My top 10 best gaming moments of 2009

  It's been a good 2009 so I did 10 because 2009 really started out slow but got better for me. These aren't games released in 2009 but things I got in 2009 or key announcements that made my year.

  10.I finally completed Metal Gear Solid 4: One of the best reasons to own a PS3. I played this game watched virtually all the cut scenes and had alot of fun playing it. The game was an epic experience from start to finish. Back to the first day I remember I nearly gave up on it but it won me over and I am so glad I stuck with the game it was so worth it.

  9.Gamecube Gems: I decided to go and buy the Zelda Collectors Edition because I couldn't wait for Majoras Mask to appear on the Virtual Console so I got the Collectors Edition and loved it. Also much later in that year I got Soul Calibur 2 a fighting game I wanted to try out for ages and it had alot of great modes and is just fun to play.

  8.Got a PSP: Well my family decided to go and get a PSP while it doesn't have as many games as say the DS that I like it is a solid system with some cool features.

  7.Street Fighter 4 was awesome: Street Fighter 4 was a game I wasn't anticapting much but after playing it I got hooked. Sure some people disagree but my opinion was the game rocked. Whenever I have a spare 30 minutes I go and play some Street Fighter 4 online with its nice easy set up and lag free gameplay most of the time.

  6.PS2 and Dreamcast games shall be downloadable sometime in 2010 on the PS3: The PS3 is already a beast of a system but being able to download titles from the Dreamcast and PS2 era make it even more awesome and it is hopefully gonna happen sometime in 2010. For future games I want these Dreamcast and PS2 titles to be downloadable. Street Fighter 3 Third Strike,Soul Calibur,Shenmue 1 and 2,Resident Evil Code Veronica,Sonic Adventure,Street Fighter Alpha 3 and most of all Ratchet and Clank 1,2 and 3.

  5.A new Metroid game in development: I was shocked but my goodness does the new Metroid look brilliant. I am looking forward to seeing more of it. This announcement came out of virtually nowhere and to hear Samus Aran shall be on the Wii again certainly got me excited because Metroid rocks.

  4.2 New Mario platform games at E3: We knew we were getting a new Mario game shown at E3 but we didn't know what type of Mario game but to our surprise we got 2. New Super Mario Bros Wii and a sequel to Super Mario Galaxy and in this one Yoshi is gonna be in it.

  3. A very good superhero game Batman Arkham Asylum: When some played the demo they felt it was just gonna be a standard beat em up but then the game got delayed a further 2 months and the finished game was awesome. It used so many different gameplay styles. Stealth,combat,cool gadgets and also it had a brilliant atmosphere. The Joker was the best though.

  2.Uncharted 2 Among Thieves: I know I got into Uncharted but I wasn't surprised when I knew I'd like it hearing it was never a game you could get lost on. After playing the first game just on the Saturday I got the second one. I went to get number 2 and while I liked number 1 Uncharted 2 just raised the bar for titles on the PS3. With its awesome single player,excellent graphics and epic cut scenes made it my favourite PS3 game.

  MY BEST MOMENT OF 2009 WAS

  1.Playstation 3 line up and price drop: Sure it had some excellent exclusive games before like Metal Gear Solid 4,Little Big Planet and Resistance and Uncharted 1 Drakes Fortune but 2009 its line up was unbelieveable. Uncharted 2,Ratchet and Clank A Crack in Time,Resistance 2,Motorstorm 2,Killzone 2,Demon Souls,ImFamous and the list goes on the PS3 I think easily now has the strongest line up of games out there at this gen at the moment and with its price drop the console really has picked up the pace. With 2010 around the corner the PS3 is looking an awesome console now when back in 2007 people were bashing it even me but how times have changed. The PS3 really is an unbelieveable console and I can only see the console getting better in the long run.

  So thats 10 great things that I think made me happy in 2009. I know some games didn't come out in 2009 but I first played them in 2009 and some awesome and surprising announcements got me really excited too. Hope you like the list.

  My top 5 most dissapointing moments of 2009

  Having had a good year there has also been a bit of a dissapointing year as well. Here are 5 things that got made me upset or got me dissapointed in the gaming world. I had a great year but not without dissapointments. Anyway hope you understand my list.

  5.Resident Evil 5: While it was a letdown I actually consider it a good game just not the masterpiece I was hoping for. The Ai in single player sucks and it seemed to totally abandon what made it Resident Evil in the first place. The reason it is fifth is I did like the game I just didn't love it.

  4. Couldn't like God of War: I imported this game for well over £42 and I thought at first it wasn't to bad but the game while it did have creative puzzles some things really frustrated like certain enemies. This made me take God of War 3 off my wishlist for next year. The repetitive button mashing made it boring in so many places.

  3.Tekken 6: As a fighting game fan I was expecting good things from this but boy was I wrong. The game just felt dated and flat. The graphics felt so last gen. The Loading screens were long and the campaign was the most boring thing I have played in single player. After 3 days of Tekken 6 I went back to my beloved Street Fighter 4.

  2.My Wii breaking down: In mid July I decided to try some games I thought I'd like like Zack and Wiki and Okami but to be honest I just couldn't like them. While though I played Okami my Wii broke down when it started loading up and I had to send it off to be repaired. I hated that but thanks to having a PS3 it was back before I knew it.

  1.Zelda Spirit Tracks: I am gonna get absoluetly bashed by lovers of this game but I honestly couldn't handle this game at all. I ended up getting frustrated with blowing into the Mic for the Spirit Pipes and also the fact that I had to control 2 characters in a game. I actually felt this game was weaker than Phantom Hourglass. I know that has a repititive temple but at least I am only playing as one character though not 2. I just honestly couldn't get into it at all. I actually ended up trading the game after 3 days woulkd you believe I really didn't like it.

  Honourable mentions: No Zelda Wii trailer, Another bad Sonic game,lack of quality titles on the Wii Shop Channel.

  They are my top 5 dissapointments of the year. Sure you will definetly not agree with number 1. I actually won't be surprised if you disagree with all of them but this is just my opinion of what dissapointed me this year.

  My videogame awards part 3

  This is the final part and I hope you shall enjoy it. I shall be doing a top 5 best and worst moments of the year that were big for me after this. So I hope you like that blog coming up. Anyway he is my finalawards hope you like them.

  Best Graphics: Uncharted 2: I know the PS3 is a beast when it comes to graphics but you can't deny the beautiful graphics of Uncharted 2. High explosions really stand out and just being somewhere high to see it all is incredible.

  Best new character:Chloe Fraizer from Uncharted 2: Nathan Drake certainly knows how to handle himself around female characters. He still has a thing for Elena but Chloe was sometimes in the middle of the heroes and villains because Larzareivc hated trators. In the end eventually she left because she knew deep down who Nate chooses her or Elena but she can certainly hold her own in battle.

  Best scene of the Year: The Train from Uncharted 2: This has to be probably one of the most action packed areas in the game. It has Nate clinging onto a train. He is trying to get to Chloe and the Phurba which is the key to opening and finding Shambala. On the train you have to dodge lights,fight hordes of enemies a helicopter and a powerful soldier near the end. This part never lets up at all.

  Console of the Year: Playstation 3: With such an impressive set of games in 2009 like Demon Souls,Uncharted 2,Resistance 2,ImFamous,Killzone 2,Ratchet and Clank A Crack in Time to name some you certainly can't deny the console has been just getting better and better and with the price drop of it the console really does feel like the best one in terms of games and hardware. I play my PS3 virtually every day and I enjoy doing so. It certainly was worth getting. The 360 and Wii had alright years with a few good games but the PS3 had about 3 Game of the Year contenders in its library that year.

  Most anticapted Game of 2010: Super Mario Galaxy 2: The plumber shall be returning in 2010 with a new 3D adventure and the best news is Yoshi will be in it. While it might not be innovative it should definetly be fun to play.

  Runner Up: Modnation Racers: This is shaping up to be the Little Big Planet of racing games. If it is nailed and done right this could be something very special. Creating your own race tracks is something I have always wanted to do in a racing game. Should be cool.

  Best Game of 2009: Uncharted 2 Among Thieves: This game what do I need to say about other than an absoulte masterpiece. A thrilling ride that never lets up. A journey across many locations and it never gets boring and Naughty Dog fixed the problems with the last game but that was good also but to somehow almost perfet it plus add multiplayer as well as an added bonus makes this game easily my favourite game of the year. No game I think came close to it as the best in 2009. It might not have won best game here but I aren't gonna complain about that to me it was but others are aloud opinions but nothing touched Uncharted 2 so many wow moments from that game.

  Runner Up: Street Fighter 4: Ryu,Ken and co won me over this year with Street Fighter 4. Since I got the game I have clocked over 400 hours of gameplay and while some didn't like it I did. Smooth gameplay that didn't feel dated it felt fresh and fun with awesome graphics and solid online.

  Third Place: Ratchet and Clank Future A Crack in Time: I had a difficulot choice either choosing this ove New Super Mario Bros Wii but I went with this because technically it was a better game. While it wasn't innovaitve it was more fun to play. Excellent story,cool gadgets and plenty of replay value pushed this game into my top 3 games of the year. I enjoyed this game from beginning to end. Awesome boss fights,great story,humor and fast paced gameplay make this the best Ratchet game in a while. I chose it manyinly for its action and it certainly had plenty of it.

  So there you go my videogame awards has ended I shall be doing my top 5 best and worst moments of the year.
