13th November where the first person nerds will be playing the s*** out of Black Ops 2 is the gaming media finally getting tired of the games coming out every single year. I mean unlike Halo this thing has been coming out since 2007.

2007: Modern Warfare

2008:COD4

2009:Modern Warfare 2

2010:Black Ops

2011:Modern Warfare 3

2012: Black Ops 2

6 games released in the space of six years and some people will have been playing the hell out of them playing multiplayer and using their headsets online but where it started in 2007 and took off in 2009 it looks like the gaming media is starting to get a bit sick of it.

The games have been some of the biggest sellers of this gen and I don't think the media will stop them making more. They will be one in 2013 and 14 and 15 probably but do you think the media is starting to get fed up with this. I mean at least with Halo it doesn't have games coming out 6 years running. I mean I would choose Halo before COD because at least they do offer a solid campaign. I heard the one in number 3 was good and the first one and I think Reach had a good one too.

So with only an 8.0 here is the media getting tired of COD.

while CoD is particularly guilty of rehashing the exact same thing over and over again without even bothering much to offer some things that make the experience somewhat different, I think we all get evenrtually tired of the franchises we love if they don't try to bring decent new additions or at least span out a bit more the release times from each new entry.

Sadly I think CoD is still as popular as ever.  All I know is I was done with the series a loooong time ago, and I don't plan on buying another one maybe ever.  They're all the same, and I find it hard to care about the series anymore.

It was only a matter of time.  Hell it wasn't until NSMB2 that the media finally stopped showering Mario with endless praise.  Activision knows though at this point COD will still make them money despite reviews.

This is straight out of my review:Honestly, what did you expect? It's Call of Duty. We've all played it, we hate it, we love it, it's repetitive, sometimes new, but overall more of the same. Of course Black Ops 2 isn't anything amazing. It's Call of Duty. Take it as it is. Personally I started liking Call of Duty around Modern Warfare 1 and wasn't really in to the multiplayer. Then around the time Modern Warfare 2 came out I was hooked on the multiplayer. I never really took the campaigns seriously after that. They were mostly pretty lame, predictable, and had some cool moments. I am by no means a "fan boy" or a "hater", I just enjoy Call of Duty on occasion like any other game. I have no clue why it's as popular as it is, and it's definitely overrated. But it is by NO MEANS bad. The multiplayer, like most call of duty's, is fun and there is a lot to do, unlock, customize, and lots of fun modes to play. The campaign is "ok", but still worth having a go around at least once. If you're looking for a review on Zombies I never really played them so I don't think I have enough experience with it to give it a fair score. But as for multiplayer; it's fun. It feels a lot like the first Black Ops, which is not a bad thing, just nothing AMAZING. So before you freak out and say, "THIS IS TERRIBLE!" or "THIS IS AMAZING!", it's honestly just ok. What did you really expect? Give it a break. I'm sick of the hype as much as the next guy but it's not a bad franchise. The graphics aren't really that great either, but I didn't expect them to be after all, it is just Call of Duty. Weapons are fun, attachments are alright, kill streaks are alright, the multiplayer still has cheap people, campers, and probably soon to be modders, but that is Call of Duty, so take it or leave it. Nothing really changed.

I sure hope so, but for now I'd say they are not bored. 8 is a good score, maybe not for CoD standards but for everything else. Also Blops 2 is a Treyarch CoD, and even though they make the better CoD games the media loves to hate on Treyarch. Just wait till MW4, that will get a 9.5/10.

I personally wish CoD would just end already. They can't top World at War.

8 is not a bad score, and plenty other publications have given the game a 9+. People buy COD because they like COD, when they get tired they will stop making them, and it's not like the games are bad at all, I enjoy them.

Also Black Ops 2 has made some very big changes to the series, you should check it out yourself.

I don't think the media is getting tired of CoD because it's giving the press something to write/talk about. And I doubt the gamers that buy these games are either. Black Ops II is the most pre-ordered game in history.

Here's a lit of all the CoD games:

Call of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty: Finest Hour, Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Call of Duty: Black Ops II: Declassified. The series made it's debut in 2003. There has been a total of 13 games in only 9 years. It is getting some serious abuse, but people keep buying them. World at War was the last one  played. The first two are great games, but the rest simply didn't really interest me all that much. I find it funny how, looking at this, anyone can have the nerve to say Nintendo over-use their franchises.
