  Suggestions?

  Well, the Halo 3 beta has come and gone now, but it was very good. I really don't feel like giving my opinion on it because I'm sure most average sane gamers have developed the same thoughts as me. However, after the beta I have fallen into a hole. I can't really find a good game to play, or at least some games to keep me occupied until Halo 3. I'm buying a 2006 Mustang sometimes this week, which I will probably be paying on for a year or two, so I don't exactly want to be throwing my money out the window. If you guys want to suggest any games, 360 or PC, that you have played recently and have found good or surprisingly good, please tell me.

  I was looking at DiRT, just something entertaining that might keep me occupied in between the other games I usually play. But if you have any suggestions on anything, please let me know. I'd appreciate it, always.

  Long update after a long time.

  Well, starting with the same thing as many of my blogs, sorry I haven't been around that much anymore. It's been a while since I've really taken a good look around here, probably Fall to be exact; as you can see my last emblem was from checking out the forums on Thanksgiving.When I left off I had just gotten stuck in the level 20 glitch, but now look at me. I'm halfway to level 22 already! It's just that being on the Internet so much in one day as I used to be about a year ago (some people may call it Internet addiction) got in the way of many things going on elsewhere in my life. Yes, and I know, I know. I have stopped playing on Live for the past couple of months. Well, basically I'm just a PC guy to heart, and if there's a game on Live that I can play on the PC, forget it. Why would I pay the extra money fora console I don't prefer? Most games I have for the PC, and if they are Xbox only I freeload off of my friends and play them at their house. Mean? Nah. Just money saving.

  I should probably be sticking around more often now that Halo 3 is getting closer and closer everyday. I'm floating around the Halo 3 boards again, though I have to say that are very poor these days. If you visit them regularly you must know what I am talking about. I was one of the original Halo 3 board members way, way back when the discussions where actually constructive; when they talked about what would happen in the campaign, and occasionally what Bungie could do to improve the multiplayer from Halo 2. An when I say way back, I mean back before the E3 trailer was even released, back when Halo 2 was all the rage and Halo 3 was only a conceived dream of all Halo 2 players. Now, it's full of worthless mumbo jumbolike "Master Chief vs." topics. Who the bloody hell cares what would happen if Samus Aran, Mario, or Hilary Clinton got into a battle with MC? It's a pointless discussion towards the game.

  With Halo 3 being mentioned, here is my take on the leaked Halo 3 beta footage. I was quite impressed that Bungie actually decided to implement some of the things that Halo fans where begging for. It looked like it's going to be an excellent multiplayer game, even though I'm only really looking forward to the campaign. I like the way they redesigned the AR. It was always a good base weapon in Halo CE, despite the fact that it blowed. Now it seems like it has gotten a bit stronger and the accuracy looks to have increased as well. The bubble shield in my opinion looks like it will just prove to be more fun then useful. Everything looks more realistic now, which is pretty cool in my book. The HUD now seems to actually curve around your face as if you are wearing the helmet and "starts up" everytime you revive by showing a pattern of lines scroll across the screen. The Spartan Laser looks completely bad ass; I think it is the answer to our dreams and vehicle whores everywhere. I'm not really sure what to think of the Mongoose. I could see how it could be useful in some situations, but I can also see how it would useless a lot of the time too. Finally, for those who still think the "GraFX SuX0rsXXx!!," wow, y'all are some picky mothers. You just want the whole game to look like a cutscene. Anyways, I thought the graphics looked amazing, especially compared to Halo 2 and seeing how there are not even done yet. So if you thought the leaked vid made Halo 3 look bad, you need to go home. I'm sorry.

  Well, that's about it for now. I'll probably be writing blogs a little more frequently now, just to keep in tune with everything. You can come check me out on the Halo 3 boards anytime, although I try not to respond to all of the trolls and idiots.

  I've entered the Dark Ages

  I've just entered the dreaded glitched level 20. I guess I won't be leveling up for a couple of months now...

  O well, nothing you can really do about it. The only thing that causes me to ponder is why Gamespot has not fixed this already?! Honestly, it has been about 6 or more months that this has been going on. Everyone complains about it, so why not fix it?

  It is you GS, that causes me to stay awake during long nights wondering about some of your unexplained actions. You're like the evil bad guy that is just so cool you must like him. Ghaaah! Must...........like............Gamespot............despite...........all the...................glitches....
