"Tell me a story: Rabbit and Coyote in the Garden, a central american folkt

Once upon a time a priest prepared a garden in the courtyard of his parish house. He wanted to provide nourishing vegetables and fruits to all of his people, and so he blessed his garden, and set off for a nearby convent to pray and meditate. Days later he checked his garden and saw that the cucumbers were beginning to blossom. He couldn't wait for the day when he could pick ripe ones for his people. But before he returned the next day to check his garden, little Rabbit discovered the garden, and he nibbled at those cucumber blossoms until they were all gone.

When the priest returned and found not a single cucumber blossom, he was dismayed. "Who would steal my cucumbers?" he asked. "I'll have to pray harder at the convent, this time asking for patience. And I'll pray that my watermelons soon will be ripe." But sure enough, Rabbit discovered the watermelons beginning to ripen, and he finished these off, too. When the priest returned for his harvest, the watermelons were all gone. "I'll be more patient yet," the priest said. "I'll pray for my pumpkins."

Naturally Rabbit ate the pumpkins too, and so the poor priest finally lost patience. "I shall catch the thief," he said, "before he eats my beans." And so he softened some wax, and with this wax he shaped the figure of a boy. This he placed in front of his garden, to guard the plants. The next day Rabbit saw the boy guarding the garden. "Hey!" little Rabbit shouted, "get out of my way or I'll punch you with my powerful paws!" Of course the wax figure did not speak. So little Rabbit hit him with his left front paw, and his paw stuck fast to the wax.

"Let go!" shrieked little Rabbit, "or I'll hit you with my powerful right!" When the boy said nothing, little Rabbit hit him again. Now his right paw was stuck, too. "These powerful back legs of mine will knock you flat!" little Rabbit shouted, but the figure said nothing, so Rabbit kicked him with both back paws. These stuck, too. So there he was, unable to free himself from the figure.

Then the priest returned from his prayers. "Ah ha!" he said, "I've caught my thief," and he hurried away to fetch the sacristan of his church. Together they returned and pulled the Rabbit from the wax figure. Then they chained him to a tree and put the key to the lock behind another bush. "You'll pay, little Rabbit," said the priest, "for stealing the food from our people. We are going to heat a pot of water and pour it over you so that you will know the pain of suffering as our people do." The priest and sacristan hurried to the convent to prepare a big pot of hot water.

As little Rabbit was waiting, Coyote happened to walk past. He was in a good mood, out for a stroll on this bright, beautiful day, and when he saw little Rabbit, he stopped to chat. "My nephew," he said, for little Rabbit was younger and smaller than he, so this is what he called him. "What are you doing here in the priest's garden?" "Uncle Coyote, I am so glad to see you," said little Rabbit. "The priest wants to feed me a big lunch of meat, and as you know, I prefer to eat vegetables and fruits. I wish you would take my place." Coyote's mouth began to water, for he loved meat. "I'm hungry, in fact," he told Rabbit, "but why has the priest chained you here?"

    coyotes

"Oh, this," said little Rabbit, "he was afraid I would run away because I told him I did not want to eat meat, but the key is hidden right behind that bush." Rabbit pointed the way. "If you unlock me, you can chain yourself here, and surely the priest will feed you all his meat instead." Coyote fetched the key, unlocked the chain and set little Rabbit free. Then little Rabbit chained him to the tree instead and said, "Uncle, thank you ever so much. I'm so glad someone else will eat the meat!" Then he ran off to enjoy the day. The priest soon returned carrying a pot of hot water, and when he saw Coyote in Rabbit's place, he was furious. "You've set that wily creature free!" the priest said. "How dare you! You'll have to pay for that!" And so he poured the hot water over Coyote's back. Poor Coyote let out a long howl.

It took several days for Coyote to recover from his punishment, but every day he thought about how to pay back little Rabbit for his trickery. When at last he felt better, he trotted off in search of Rabbit. He found him happily eating ripe cantaloupes in the priest's garden. "Nephew!" Coyote cried, "because of you I have suffered greatly. Come out of that garden. I'm going to punish you!" "Dear Uncle, you must have mistaken me for one of my brothers. You know I have 14 brothers, and we all look alike. Please, let me feed you one of these lovely cantaloupes. You look so thin and sickly today."

Now Coyote couldn't resist the lure of that fruit, and so he said, "Well, perhaps your punishment can wait a while." "Open your mouth, Uncle," said little Rabbit, and this Coyote did. Now little Rabbit picked the biggest, hardest cantaloupe he could find -- a nice green one - and this he pushed into Coyote's mouth. But since the fruit was huge and green, it stuck in Coyote's mouth, and Coyote fell to the ground, rolling over and over, trying to dislodge it. And while he was there, little Rabbit dashed away. Now I'm sure you can imagine what the priest thought when he found Coyote in his garden with a big, fat cantaloupe stuck in his mouth, and I'm sure you can imagine what Coyote thought of little Rabbit. But how did he repay him for that trick? Well, my friends, that's a story for another day.

    Karmic Numbers

They have returned! Just a reminder to quote another website "Numerology is based on the ancient idea that each of us is a spiritual being, or a soul, who incarnates on the earth many times over in order to further evolve towards higher states of awareness."

The numbers that indicate a Karmic Debt are 13, 14, 16, and 19. These double-digit numbers take on great significance when they are found in the core numbers (the most important numbers including the Life Path, Expression, Heart's Desire (or Soul Urge), Personality, and Birth Day), and in the various cycles during the course of your lifetime. Each has its own unique characteristics, and its own particular difficulties.

When you are calculating your chart - especially you core numbers and different cycles - you may encounter the numbers 1, 4, 5, or 7. These single-digit numbers can be arrived at by adding a variety of two-digit numbers. The number 1 can be arrived at, for example, by combining the double-digit numbers of 10 (1 + 0 = 1), 19, 28, 37, 46 - all of which total to 10, and then to 1. However, only in the case of 19 is a Karmic Debt indicated. Karmic Debts are also associated with the numbers 4, 5, and 7. These numbers can be preceded by an array of two-digit numbers, but when the 4 is preceded by a 13; or when the 5 is preceded by a 14; or the 7 by a 16; a Karmic Debt is also read as part of the single-digit interpretation.

    Felix the cat clock

A Karmic Debt can be found in different places in the chart. As a result of totals based on your date of birth, for instance, or calculations based on the letters of your name. This means that two people with a 16 Karmic Debt that is located in different places in the chart, express it very differently. Thus, all I can do is lay out the general characteristics of the Karmic Debt, and some broad guidelines for dealing with it.What follows is a description of the four Karmic Debt numbers 13, 14, 16, and 19. The number tells you about your psychological vulnerabilities, strengths, and limitations that fate may have to offer you and the first impression that you make on others.

    A J S=1
    B K T=2
    C L U=3
    D M V=4
    E N W=5
    F O X=6
    G P Y=7
    H Q Z=8
    I R=9

Example: William Bradley Pitt would look like this 5+9+3+3+9+1+4+2+9+4+3+5+7+7+9+2+2 = 84 8+4=12 1+2=3

Karmic Number 1 Your best way to reap good karma in this life is to concentrate less on your own aims, and show others the way to their success. Practicing stewardship, mentorship and philanthropy helps you make decisions about the course of
    your own life.

Karmic Number 2 Loving yourself and taking care of yourself will enable you to love and take care of others in this life without sacrificing your dignity and self-esteem Practice letting go of such toxic emotional habits as possessiveness,
    jealousy and obsession.

Karmic Number 3 Do the creative things you love just for the sheer joy of doing them and the money will come to you. If you start feeling that the world owes you a living, immediately go out and practice an act of random kindness or charity
    to humble yourself.

    Grandfather clock

Karmic Number 4 Achieving world peace is one thing, but first one must be harmonious inside. As you are such a caretaker of others, you are advised to take time out from your focus on others and regularly reconnect with your higher self by practicing yoga or meditation.

Karmic Number 5 You attract the best karma by sacrificing the spotlight to others once in a while, no matter how untalented they may seem to you. Realize that everybody has a right to express him or herself without judgement or criticism from
you. Dispensing with pride and learning to be humble is often corrective to your karma.

Karmic Number 6 You attract the best fortune by doing onto others, as they would do unto you. Your karma is vastly improved if you can get past the idea that you must save up your love for that one special someone and treat everyone you meet
as specially as you would your soul mate.

Karmic Number 7 Number 7's can improve their karma by extending a helping hand to those they would normally consider to be contemptible in behavior. 7's can also create good karma by learning to master their greatest fears such as fear of
abandonment and fear of "letting go."

Karmic Number 8 8's reap the greatest karmic rewards by having faith and working diligently to accomplish their goals no matter what others say. As 8's are often wealthy they reap what they sow by donating at least 10% of their income to charities.

Karmic Number 9 Number 9's can correct their karma by displaying more faith in the concept that the universe is a benevolent, rather than a cruel place. Detaching from their emotions and consistently displaying an upbeat and positive attitude usually brings them great rewards.

Karmic Number 11 Master number 11's reap the greatest karmic rewards by having faith in their intuition as opposed to their rational minds. 11's need to work on their faith and trust in other people as fate has a way of only bringing them what they expect. If an 11 expects the worst than he or she will get the worst. If she or he expects the best, then they are usually blessed

Those with the 13 Karmic Debt will work very hard to accomplish any task. Obstacles stand in their way, and must be overcome time and again. One may often feel burdened and frustrated by the seeming futility of one's efforts, and there may be a desire to surrender to the difficulties and simply give up on the goal, believing it was impossible to attain in the first place. Some with the 13 Karmic Debt fall to laziness and negativity. But efforts are not futile, and success is well within reach. One simply must work hard, and persevere in order to reach the goal. Many highly successful people in all walks of life, including business, art, and athletics, have a 13 Karmic Debt. The key to succeeding with the 13 is focus. Very often, people with the 13 Karmic Debt do not concentrate or direct their energies in one specific direction, or on a single task, but scatter their energies over many projects and jobs, none of which amount to very much. A temptation with the 13 is to take shortcuts for quick success. Too often, that easy success doesn't come, causing regret and the desire to give up. The result is a poor self-image, and the belief that one is incapable of amounting to very much.In order to focus, you must maintain order in your life. Order is essential to success. You must maintain a schedule, keep appointments, and follow through. Keep your environment neat and under control, and never procrastinate. If you sustain a steady and consistent effort, you will realize much reward.

The 14 Karmic Debt arises from previous lifetimes during which human freedom has been abused. Those with a 14 Karmic Debt are forced to adapt to ever-changing circumstances and unexpected occurrences. There is an acute danger of falling victim to abuse of drugs, alcohol, and overindulgence in sensual pleasures, such as food and sex. You must put the reins on yourself. Modesty in all affairs is crucial to overcoming this Karmic Debt. Also important is the need to maintain order in life, and to establish one's own emotional stability. You must also be willing to adapt to the unexpected occurrences of life, all the while maintaining your focus on your goals and dreams. Flexibility and adaptability are at the very core of this struggle. Orderliness in one's immediate environment is crucial to maintaining clarity and focus. Mental and emotional stability must be attained in order to avoid being thrown about by the changing fortunes in the external environment. But the key to the 14 Karmic Debt is commitment. Life will resemble a roller coaster ride, but it will always travel in the right direction if one's heart is set on what is true and good. Set yourself a high goal, maintain order wherever possible in your life, avoid excessive sensory indulgence, and maintain faith. Above all, do not give up on your dreams and goals. Those with the 14 Karmic Debt will experience life to the fullest, and as long as they maintain a high dream, they will achieve success and great spiritual development.

The 16 Karmic Debt - wherever it shows up on the chart - means destruction of the old and birth of the new. The 16 is about the fall of the ego, and all that it has built for itself. It is a watershed, a cleansing. All that has been constructed, and all that serves to separate the person from the source of life is destroyed. Through the 16, reunion with the great spirit is accomplished.
This can be a painful process, because it usually comes after much ego inflation. This results in a struggle between the ego and the divine will. Life presents challenges to your grand plans, which can be resented and struggled against. It is a lost battle, and you will likely feel humbled in the face of the collapse that follows. This humility is the key to later success, however, because you will learn to follow the intimations of a higher reality. In the destruction of the old, a spiritual rebirth takes place with an entirely new awareness. This rebirth affects every area of your life. It is a life much the better for the fall. Those with the 16 Karmic Debt must be careful of egotism. Very often, those with the 16 use their highly intuitive and refined intellect to look down upon others, and view the rest of the world as inferior. This causes acute alienation and loneliness. In addition, it invites retribution, for the egotist is humbled more harshly than any other. When the 16 is in one of the core numbers, this process of destruction and rebirth is a continual cycle that actually serves to bring you into higher consciousness and closer union with the source of life. The 16 Karmic Debt can be a path of progress and great spiritual growth if it is looked at properly. One develops great faith by placing one's life in the hands of God. Through such faith, gratitude and peace are firmly established
    .

The person with the 19 Karmic Debt will learn independence and the proper use of power. You will be forced to stand up for yourself, and often be left to stand alone. Difficulties will be faced and overcome through personal struggle. One of the central lessons for people with the 19 Karmic Debt is that you stubbornly resist help. Much of your independence is self-imposed; you simply don't want to listen to others, or to accept the help or advice of others. The 19 Karmic Debt can become a self-imposed prison if you do not open up to the reality of interdependence, and the mutual need for love. The most important lesson for the 19 Karmic Debt is: While you seek to stand on your own feet, you are still a human being, deeply connected with others and in need of the support, assistance, and human understanding that all people need. Those with the 19 Karmic Debt will learn the hard way.

    Whammy

Karmic Number 22 Master number 22's succeed the best if they learn to control the thoughts that rule their subconscious mind. As they are the ultimate manifesters of dreams into reality, a 22 reaps the greatest rewards by choosing his or her thoughts carefully. Positive thoughts bring a 22 positive things. Negative thoughts often manifest as roadblocks to success or prosperity.

Karmic Number 33 The Karmic number 33 is usually an enlightened being who is about to ascend to the next level of non-being. They usually don't experience a karmic path and act more as karmic agents that trigger catalytic events so that others
can ascend in terms of developing their spirituality.

The fact that the 33 is extra-ordinary demanding and rare can be seen symbolically in the methods of calculation. For example, a 33 Life Path can happen only when each of the 3 units of the birth date (month/year/day) add to 11. Or when the year adds to 22 (in the 20th century there are only 7 years that add to 22: 1939, 48, 57, 66, 75, 84, and 93) and the month and day of birth combined total is 11. And finally, when the Birth Day is 22 and the month and year of birth total 11. Another way to look at the Master numbers: The Master numbers 11, 22, and 33 represent a triangle. A triangle of Enlightenment. The number 11 represents the vision The number 22 combines vision with action The number 33 offers guidance to the world.
