  Life stories, light stories

  The year is 2008 .electronic devises are the integral part of everyone 's life . communication , transportation, financial affairs , learning, ……………and of course Entertainment . right now lets just talk about entertainment .well we all know that Movies and Video games are on top of Electronic Entertainment . we spend hours and hours of our free times (or even more) in front of TV or monitors staring at this virtual world either watching or playing . but is this all ? H no . the things and contents that are available in those movies or Video games are way more than just Entertainment . we live with them ,learn the way of life , increase our knowledge and wisdom . so it should be considered way more than just Entertainment . I am not going to talk about the Visuals or music or directing or any thing . I am just here to complain about their main souls . about the story of them . have you ever thought why movies like Spiderman 3 are so financially successful ? have you ever thought why Games and movies are getting lighter and lighter in terms of story . and sometimes we like it this way . a normal story with a little spice such as nudity , CG quality scenes , over the top action , lets rock kinda language and at the end a happy ending so every one enjoys it . this being said I never despise Happy endings but in fact I really do not like light stories . gamers are starting to think that evolution in terms of graphic or game play is every thing in Gaming . have you ever searched the internet and different web sites for video game 's articles . it is mostly about either graphics or game play or things like that . but there is no real criticizing about the game 's story and plot line . the lack of attention for story line in reviews would be excused by things like "it is a game and players should experience the story themselves " or "we describe an overview of story for fans and we go as far as we do not spoil anything . and in comparison to Game developers the reviewers are not guilty at all . when the contents would be sacrificed in order to increase the sales we then would understand that if you want a great story then you have to go and look for the old story books written in18th or 19 century . but I believe the developers are too worried about risking . if they only look at some titles that tried to take gaming experience to a whole new level with really deep plot line and still having a fair sale then they would try it themselves . why should the only deep First person shooter in current generation is BioShock ? why games like silent hill and movies like I am Legend would not be received as well as titles like Spiderman or Resident evil ? maybe yet again we should seek these kind of things in old story books or maybe we should change our opinion and get used to repetitive contents . I do not know…………….. maybe………..maybe .
